Sean Connery? "Nobody does it better, makes me feel sad for the rest...."

P.S. Posters from first four movies are re-releases, the rest are original release posters.

Now, about those Connerys...  Grin

"What does it matter to ya
When you got a job to do
You gotta do it well
You gotta give the other fellow helllllll...."

Those Connerys and frames cost me $2,000.  Should I spend another $2,000 acquiring all originals or should I spent it finding my own Pussy Galore?    Grin

And the rest!  Whew!  49 Bond posters up on the wall - not too shabby.  Now I've got to throw a James Bond party this month.  Any ideas?

I would recommend martinis and a bunch of hot, easy women.  And it will pain you to do, but you should probably invite your nemesis too... you know, so you can have a nice respectable chat with them.

Do you expect me to talk?

Ha, ha, ha... no mister Mel, I expect you to die!

Nice Connery's by the way!

How long does it take you to change out 49 posters? Can't you find a small place for one insert poster to make it an even 50?

Nice Bond Posters Mel! I was looking at your "50 years of bond" poster (very well put together) and to make it 50 years shouldn't it be 2012?

CJ: "1962 - 2011" - probably messed that up - I was thinking Dr. No was released in early 1962 but it was actually Oct 1962 in UK and May 1963 in US - really just looking for an excuse for a "50th" anniversary poster

Chad: 49 posters - I ran out of 41" frames, thwarting my evil plan

Harry: Yes, I'm all for your party plan! Gotta rent that white tux...

The advance withdrawn and regular Pulp Fiction posters side by side.

I've carefully checked my advance poster and I'm 100% convinced it is original.  It meets every test on MPA perfectly - size, color, etc.

I can't really say which I prefer.  The replacement poster has brighter colors and Thurman has a lighter, more "life like" skin tone.  However, the withdrawn shows the whole body, the credits are less intrusive, and the gun is less prominent.

Which do you prefer?

I prefer the regular for a few reasons:
a) brighter color
b) I like the actors' names stacked on the left
c) logo typography
d) pistol prominence
e) full credits

..ohhh, and did I mention the price?

I'm shocked to say this, but I like the replacement better now that I've seen them side by side.

I should add, that I am in no way biased by the fact that I own the replacement and cannot afford the recalled ;-)

But yeah, the gun looks better on the replacement and as brude just said, the actors names are more prominent on the second one.

I'm still jealous though :-)

I think the gun looks more fake to me on the replacement even though you can see it better.

Very nice. One of my all time favorite movies and posters (all three of them I love).

I am desperately looking for a Steven Spielberg signed letter (especially with Schindler's List content). If you have one I will make you an offer you can't refuse.

You are so fucked Mel.  Once you've crossed the "I'll sell this one so I can buy that one" line it is all down hill from there...
