okie, are you the one on the left or the right?
That Bride of Frankenstein poster is beautiful!
Hi Jeff, Yes, it is up and framed in a good location to see everyday just outside our main bedroom. It also has friends on either side: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde stage poster circa late 1800s, and Walking Dead lobby card of Karloff shambling toward his killers. I'll picture those two sometime as well (maybe on their anniversary dates?). Thanks for asking. Okie
okie, were there other poster styles or designs for this stage performance?
Hi Jeff, Good catch, that's the printers name "A.S. Seer's". Okie
Thanks again, okie.I looked A.S. Seer up last night. From the imagery I found, they did quite a bit of good work. Several collections of their poster work are in the Library of Congress, too.https://www.loc.gov/collections/performing-arts-posters/?fa=subject%3Acolor%7Ccontributor%3Aa.s.+seer+print
Thanks for the LOC link, Jeff. It's really cool you were able to sort by printer. Okie
