Sure it's iconic but this is ugly as F for over $1,000...http://auctions.emovieposter.com/Bidding.taf?_function=detail&Auction_uid1=2892793
I hope none of you bought this one... $295 for a rolled Taxi Driver.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151010571060&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123#ht_669wt_1167The NSS info had a different layout from all known copies I could find. When I asked her to confirm the dimensions she found out today that it was only 27x40. The seller then told me she that she couldn't end the auction (<24 hours) at that point, but that she would have a friend bid on it so no one else would win it. However, given the rarity of a real rolled Taxi Driver I can imagine her friend might have not bid high enough! Anyway, looks like it will be canceled regardless.
I emailed her as well advising her that she was showing images of the reprint and that the dimensions of the poster were almost certainly 27 x 40. She later confirmed that it was indeed 27 x 40 and told me she would cancel the auction.Mark
I didn't recognise the handle, but they have a fair few feedbacks. Must be a collector.. though not a knowledgable one. He should join here...
Aren't the handles annonymized? I've looked at my in-progress bids when I wasn't logged in and the first and last letters didn't match up with my username.
Hmmm, Loveland CO. We lived in that small town for over 30 years. I looked over her other items, and have a pretty good idea where she lives. If I am right, I expect that she did not actually end the auction and somebody got took.
