The Croneneberg Frankenstein caught my eye, too! Given what he did with The Fly, I'd love to see his take on the Shelley classic!

Incidentally, I've ordered the 'zine but I haven't got it in my hands quite yet.

Did you ever receive the 'zine?

I want to give all of you reading this one FINAL reminder about our 752 solely rolled bulk lots containing 15,104 rolled posters in all at auction ending in just a few HOURS) at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html, beginning at 3 PM CST (NOT at 7 PM like our Tuesday and Thursday auctions).

You have just a few hours to look these over, so please do so soon, because you will likely thank me later, because honestly SO MANY OF THE CURRENT PRICES ARE TRULY "CRAZY LOW"!

And if you have been following our Thursday "rolled" poster auctions (including the one that ended last night), then you know that prices on LOTS of one-sheets from the 1970s to present have been "going through the roof"! Think I am exaggerating?

Thursday night we auctioned a BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA one-sheet for $613, a SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION advance one-sheet for $534, a SCREAM one-sheet for $509, an ALIENS one-sheet for $470, and on and on!

And prices on these seem to keep rising faster and faster (some people thought it crazy when the above posters were around $100 each a few years ago) and there is no telling where they will be in a few more years.

IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHY SOME OF THE LOTS CONTAIN 3 OR 4 OR 5 EXAMPLES OF A SINGLE POSTER THAT USUALLY SELLS FOR MORE THAN $30, THAT'S BECAUSE SOMETIMES SOMEONE SENDS US THREE OR FOUR OR FIVE OF ONE $30+ POSTER AND THEY DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR THEM TO AUCTION ONE AT A TIME OVER MONTHS, AND INSTEAD ASK US TO DO THEM ALL AS ONE LOT!

I can see that the current high bidders on most of these are dealers who will be re-selling them (and nothing wrong with that!), but certainly those of you who are collectors should be looking those especially closely since almost all of them are all absolutely at wholesale prices (or WAY below!).

As of right now, with a few HOURS to go, a truly unbelievable THREE HUNDRED TEN of these lots are at just $1 to $10 (per LOT, not per item, and some contain dozens or hundreds of items in a single lot!), and 437 (58% of all the auctions!) are at just $1 to $20, and the ones over just $20 each are almost all currently at FAR under low wholesale prices (in fact, a LOT of the lowest priced lots are literally at just pennies per item!).

Here are a few pretty random examples (I say "random", because there are a zillion lots with values similar to these!).

Look at this bulk lot of FIVE examples of "BAD TIMING" one-sheet (of a highly regarded Nicolas Roeg movie) at https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Bidding.taf?_function=detail&Auction_uid1=6749577 all in "very good" unfolded condition. The winning bidder gets ALL 5 of them, and they are currently at just $15, $3 per poster! And MANY individual examples of this have sold for around $40 each (including a number of times on eMoviePoster.com), and they probably could each be sold for that on eBay or Facebook, making the person who buys them a bundle!

Look also at this bulk lot of EIGHT examples of "STAR TREK CREW" one-sheet (the "Kirk" style, with great Drew Struzan art) at https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Bidding.taf?_function=detail&Auction_uid1=6749092 all in "very good" unfolded condition. The winning bidder gets ALL 8 of them, and they are currently at just $34, $4.25 per poster! And individual examples of this have sold many times for around $30 to $35 (including a number of times on eMoviePoster.com), and they probably could each be sold for that on eBay or Facebook, making the person who buys them a bundle!

Look also at this bulk lot of TWENTY EIGHT examples of "MATEWAN" one-sheet (of a highly regarded John Sayles labor union movie) at https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Bidding.taf?_function=detail&Auction_uid1=6749191 all in "very good" unfolded condition. The winning bidder gets ALL 28 of them, and they are currently at just $2, around SEVEN CENTS per poster! And individual examples of this have sold many times for around $20 (including a number of times on eMoviePoster.com), and they probably could each be sold for that on eBay or Facebook, making the person who buys them a bundle!

Look also at this bulk lot of FIVE examples of "DEADLY
BLESSING" one-sheet at https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Bidding.taf?_function=detail&Auction_uid1=6749561 all in "good to very good" unfolded condition. The winning bidder gets ALL 5 of them, and they are currently at just $41, around $8 per poster! And individual examples of this have sold for $35 to $50 (including a number of times on eMoviePoster.com), and they probably could each be sold for that on eBay or Facebook, making the person who buys them a bundle!

And if you ARE a dealer buying these for resale, know that we always offer the buyer of any auction (on request only) unwatermarked versions of the images of what they won (but ONLY to the high bidder), which means dealers can save a ton of time re-using our images (especially important with bulk lots, which take forever to photograph)! And the same is true for buyers who are collectors who just want images of what they won for their computer or their website!

NOTE THAT AS WE GREATLY REDUCE THE NUMBER OF BULK LOT CONSIGNMENTS LEFT HERE (and take NO new bulk lot consignments) WE WILL BE REDUCING THE NUMBER OF BULK LOT AUCTIONS WE HOLD!

For example, the next bulk lot auction after this one won't be until August and THAT ONE WILL SOLELY CONTAIN FOLDED POSTERS, LOBBY CARDS, STILLS, ETC, and NO ROLLED POSTERS AT ALL. WE WON'T HAVE ANOTHER BULK LOT AUCTION WITH ROLLED POSTERS UNTIL SEPTEMBER AT THE EARLIEST (if it doesn't get bumped). So if you like these rolled posters auctions, make the most of them while they last, because soon there won't be any more of them and the next one is at least 4 months off!

Best of luck if you bid on any of these 752 bulk lots ending in hours! I could go on and on about them, but if you simply go right now to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html, seeing the many quality rolled posters combined with crazy low prices will "sell" these to you better than anything I could write here!

So I'm guessing you don't have kids or they're all grown up haha

Cool poster!

Thanks, Thierry -- and yeah, you are correct. No kids so no need to worry about the youngsters being traumatized, haha!!

If you had asked me to guess which one of the many hundreds of posters I have in my collection my wife would let me display in our new (ish) apartment, I don't think this one would have made the top 100 guesses. It's nice to be surprised occasionally! (She thinks this French poster for TCM is 'Warhol-esque' so was happy to give it a pass. Lucky me!

That's hilarious!  Growing up in Paris in the 1980s, I remember that poster very well since the movie wasn't released in France until 1982, and that B&W image of Leatherface seemed to be everywhere when it did...

We want to make our upcoming August Major Auction, which begins July 14th and ends August 4th another great one, and there are five weeks left for you to consign and help us make that happen!

Our April Major Auction took in $565,073.00 and our regular auctions have been doing great as well! Why consign to OUR major auctions rather than to those of other auctions?

Because we charge far less than ANY other major auction, at every price level! And if anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they are not telling you the truth!

See https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#absoluteproof for absolute proof of this!

AND you should also consign to us instead of ANYWHERE else because we get higher prices overall than any other auction, when you compare “apples to apples and oranges to oranges”

We have 35 years of experience (and over $116 MILLION in sales, and over 69,000 past buyers and active registered users, and OVER 3,350 previous consignors) to prove that we treat ALL our consignors (and ALL our bidders) the way you want to be treated, with TRUE customer service EVERY step of the way.

We have averaged over SIX million dollars of sales the past 6 years (and every sale was a REAL sale, to a real bidder, and NO other auction can say that).

Why consign anywhere else when you can consign to the best auction there is? Contact us TODAY with what you have and you may see your poster in our next preview ad (and ALL the posters pictured at https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#august2024 WILL be in the August Major Auction)!

I don’t know.  I think he’s saying he wants to know where to buy a couple of posters.

It’s funny, every time I search for a poster that is listed on my website, everything shows up except my website.  I have no idea how to make it more visible, nor did I ever try to be honest.

With the worldwide web, maybe he was looking up movie poster artwork or something and was directed to your website.  A couple weeks ago I was looking up a poster artwork I hadn't seen before and a photo from your website was the only one that appeared in the search results.

I think he's just saying that in his country there are some of Belmondo's movies available to watch.

I get messages from all around the world, most from English speaking countries and most about asking me to sell stuff, which I have stopped answering.

But yesterday, I got my first Russian message.

Здравствуйте!
Очень великолепная коллекция постеров с Бельмондо, сам вырос на его фильмах, где можно хотя бы пару-тройку таких же найти.

Which, according to Google, translates into: Hello!
A very magnificent collection of posters with Belmondo, I myself grew up watching his films, where you can find at least a couple of the same ones.

Don't really know what he's asking, but I thought it was funny for a Russian dude to let me know his love for Jean-Paul Belmondo (a famous French actor mostly unknown in the US).  And how did he even find my website will remain a mystery.
