It's all about priorities, Rich, and I hate overspending on shipping.  I will simply not buy posters if I feel shipping is too high.

T

Collector: "How much is that poster?"
Gallery: "$5000.00"
Collector: "that's at least $1500.00 more than it ever sold anywhere. How did you come up with that price?"
Gallery: "take it or leave it..."
Collector: "okay.. I'll pay your price even if it is more than a thousand I ever wanted to pay for it.. How much is shipping?"
Gallery: "$24.00"
Collector: "WHAT?!? THAT'S DOUBLE WHAT IT SHOULD COST YOU TO PACK & SHIP IT.. YOU'RE RIPPING ME OFF FOR $12.00!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!"

Outstanding KBK.  I don't know why the posters for that film don't get much love, I think they're all terrific.

Well, I only got two of the 3 Terminator Banners as they had to put one up.......They are double sided though, and I don't mean poster double sided.. a different image on each side.  Sorry for the pics, it's a bit crowned in the Garage as I'm actually sorting it out!

side A

side B

And side A of the second.

Thanks, y'all.  8)

Those are neat, PW.  The first banner is reminiscent of T2.  Mr. Cameron said that Genysis is the "real" third Terminator film.  cool1

Paul, do you actually keep those banners or do you sell them?  I'm not asking out of interest, but more because you have posted a bunch over time and they take so much room.

Just curious what you do with them.

1974 Canadian roadshow poster for TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD.  The picture doesn't do this poster justice - it really pops with the black and white print.

Nice, Mike...

the B/W art along with the red text lettering are a fantastic combination.

At the moment I keep them, not sure why??   They do take a lot of room up, which is why my garage is taking a while to organise.. I'm thinking I should sell, but like yourself I don't.

It's no coincidence that a long coveted Mexican lobby card for one of my favorite Christopher Lee films would arrive on the day I learn of his death.  Thank's for the gift Mr. Lee, you will be missed.

Has the top border been trimmed? Or is this how it was printed?

Nice card! I especially like the artwork in upper right of the face with the hand over the mouth. Spooky!

And of course it is a shame about Christopher Lee.  Hmm, time to watch the Wicker Man again.

These aren't exactly new acquisitions, but they are newly restored by Dario, and I just picked them up this past weekend.  They look a hell of a lot better than when I handed them to Dario!
