well, the auction isn't over yet Paul.. It may go higher, it may sell for where it is (unlikely)
but it is still an example of rarity not necccessarily translating into "uber-expensive"
I'd venture to say that most "rare" posters actually only sell below $500 in all sizes because most rare posters are pre-1940 and there is an awful lot that can be gotten for $200 or less that are nearly impossible to find. That lobby card I added to my collection from Just Imagine (1930) didn't cost me a bundle (however a bundle is a subjective term. someone who only makes a few hundred a week a bundle is $50. someone who makes $100 a week $5 can be a bundle. definitely a subjective definition) and it may actually be the only one card that has been sold & resold, or at the very best I can say that fewer than 5 are known to exist. That's very rare (and it's mine.. all mine hahahahahahahahahahaha)
