He'll, I thought the quad would be cheaper!  What do they go for?

As we know prices vary, but don't expect much change from £5000. To many including me, It's more desirable than the Dracula Quad..

No idea when that one was sold Jeff...

It's a poster that if it came up now would run into very silly money, there's less of these than the Dracula Quad. Or maybe I should say, I've seen a lot less of these...

Is the quad (or other UK posters) the only ones that preserve the legit title "Night"?

$15,000 =  :-X

"Curse" sounds more sinister for the US market me thinks  :-\  "Night" is far too sophisticated...

Apart from changing the title the film was also edited (run time chopped really) for US distribution.

Although in it's pure British form it's really a psychological/supernatural thriller they wanted it to be portrayed as a horror film (also explaining why Jacques was forced to include the monster at the end)...

What a damn shame, that Follow the Fleet WC was butchered!  I understand trimming off the white edges, but cutting off their heads??  Even to fit the frame?  That makes no sense whatsoever.

Unfortunately, the WC was used as a backing for a smaller picture frame; it required that much "surgery" to make it fit.  :-[

Well it was to fit the backing to a frame

But yeah a shame and unfortunately it's a fit that has befallen MANY a window card...

What a great poster to go under the knife.
How tragic.

Chris is correct... these things were disposable.  WCs weren't even used in theaters.  They were meant to be passed out around town and put in every non-theater, store window they could find.  You also have to remember that even bumble-fuck towns of 3-5,000 people had 1 or 2 theaters (main form of entertainment back then).  Then top that off with most movies only being shown 1 or 2 nights as the rotations were much more frequent back then (had to be when you only had 1 screen per theater).  Every store owner in every town probably had stacks of multiples of these things coming out their ears.
All things considered, I'm surprised how few of these actually survived and we should be happy when something like this turns up at all... even in it's current sorry state  cheers

I wonder what this would realistically sell for in today' market. HA has never sold one and the Style F, that sold last March, went for $143,400 inc the BP.

Todd has had it priced with a BIN of $750,000.00 for a while now, with no best offer option. It is one of those iconic images, without question.  thumbup

Same goes for his BRIDE OF FRANK teaser OS, listed for $850K:

Something is certainly wrong with this world when one guy has both of those.
How the hell does that happen?
He lives here in New York...I should look him up, eh?
Work out a trade...a few Star Wars posters, some Exorcist lobbies....yeah, that's the ticket...trade...trade...trade...

In my fucking dreams, eh?
