Yup, those 4 foglios are quite large aren't they!  My 20x30 Soy Cuba looks positively tiny in comparison...

Clips are only temporary... we had to get it on the wall as soon as we unrolled it.

As for framing, we were thinking of something in a weathered matte black.  Something like this Predator frame Holiday posted a while back...

So you just taped the panels together, right Mel?  Did you use a few strategically placed pieces or just run a tape line across the whole back side?

Also, what size is that Office next to it?  40x60?

Yes, I taped both panels from side-to-side in the back (not the front) with acid-free tape.  The poster was "only" $140 - and only poster addicts would say "only" right? - so I can live with any depreciation that causes in exchange for the ability to display it cheaply.

Of course, ideally I'd prefer to have it linen-backed and order a custom frame but that's the $1,000 solution.

The Officer is a 40x60 that I unfortunately had to trash after I took the picture.  It had become hopelessly warped.  I'll pick up a replacement one sheet at some point.

Insanely great Sexy Haute Tension French 1P.  Got this from filmartgallery.com - Matt has really good stuff for pretty reasonable prices.

This kind of poster may motivate me to rent a second apartment to display my stuff - I'm out of room!

Wow, that's some collection. Fantastic. Is that your house with all those frames having, or do you have them in a gallery or something?

I decided to display some of my best movie posters in my office again.  I don't intend to change these often, if at all.

(Sorry for iPhone pic quality!)

Movie posters on right wall:

Nobody has a clue the ET poster is worth $300+ (hopefully no one will steal it!):

All the guys in my office have declared their undying love for Vivien Leigh after seeing this Japanese B1:

Art deco movie posters on left wall:

I'm really glad I picked up this Miles Davis poster from Red Vic theater - outstanding!

The older paper is really spicing things up Mel.

Looking better than ever with many of the glossy, modernist crap filtered out ;)

Really first rate Mel, as you are adding in more older items, it's looking much more classy.

That Midnight blue is excellent by the way, I've been out bid twice on that lately. ;)

Wow.  Mel has definitely set the bar to which all other home framed collections can be measured.  Excellent work.

An attack on the posters of the King of framed collections is the same as an attack on the King himself!  :D  Although I must concur that the older paper mixed in with the newer stuff is cool.

I think it is less an attack than kudos for "the King" starting to see path to true poster enlightenment.
