I don't see anything wrong with these posters.  I got a couple myself.  Sometimes sellers get posters that nobody else can get.  It happens.

i know that sometimes posters get printed with no intention of them being distributed to Cinemas. I'm not quite sure why that is, but it does happen as I have a few.

Having said that, I have dealt with this seller and if you ask him too many questions about the origins of his posters he clams up. That made me think he is either selling reprints or he has a direct link somehow to the Studios and/or Printers. I'd like to think it's the latter.

I do buy commercial posters now and then, but they are not Cinema posters, and it seems these are just commercial ones. They are the same as the Commercial Elm st ones that did the rounds back in the 80's.  Different designs, but with all the credits etc on....look like the real thing but not.

If it's not up/been up in a Cinema, it's not a Cinema poster.

It's an interesting point you make Paul, but I'm still not convinced their commercial in the same way as the Elm Streets (of which I have for the later movies purchased in ignorance)

The posters I have are Character 1-Sheets for Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. These were only produced as mini 1-Sheets so I always ignored the full size ones on ebay assuming they were reprints. That is until I had a brief chat with Marklawd re some Harry Potter 1-Sheets from the same seller. It turns out they were 'Special Recognition Prints' for internal use, but still full size 1-Sheets.

So I guess they may not be a Cinema poster by your terms Paul but I don't think they are commercial either.

Maybe this poster can take the heat off the Armed Joker double-sided 1-Sheet for The Dark Knight for a bit!

Crikey.....Special Recognition prints....?

I don't consider Prints of any kind Cinema posters, but we all collect what we like, and makes us happy.  :)

"Special recognition prints" are similar to "banner prints" which are more manageable one sheet sized versions of larger format posters. Studio/marketing executives use these for internal use as part of the marketing campaign. They are single-sided and normally printed in very small quantities. These have nothing to do with the double-sided Jurassic World "fish tank" posters. These seem legitimate to me and I have just ordered one myself.

It's definitely an office waller who made that name up for them...

I'm still not sure if the Tank poster is right, but I can wait a year or so to see. I also wonder why the poster with Bryce and the D-rex isn't also being so popular??

I wasn't suggesting they were the same thing, I was just trying to make the point that there are posters printed that may not be intended for release, and that doesn't necessarily mean reprint or commercial poster.

And print is 'their' term, not mine but it basically means poster  :P

Anyone worries that this movie is not being reviewed until the day of?  I will see it no matter what, and so will millions of people around the globe, but it's not a good sign.

So its like World War Z and he has cancer so the raptors aren't interested in eating him right?  Or is he the guy who raised them?  I'm already frustrated.

Doc Ock's & Jokers look good too. If you have access to the the right people, you can make anything you want.

Something to ponder though, the exclusives (as in, only seller in the WORLD) historically have been from different design companies, and different studios that use different printers.

That being said, bought one myself!

I thought Avengers 2 was a two hour headache, not sure I can sit through another SPX bonanza like that again, namely this one.
