I rarely see a modern poster I think is done well..
the new Star Wars poster has been revealed.. pretty nice

I like it. Not Drew Struzen, but looks good to me.
It begs the questions . . .
Where's Luke?
Why does Finn appear to have Anakin's Blue Lightsaber?
Is there any significance to how Rey and Kylo Ren are pictured? At first glance, I thought she was wielding a double-bladed lightsaber. Is there a connection between those two?
Is that a new Death Star? Why are we going back to that well again if so?

yeah it has lots of interesting elements and thank heaven it isn't just a photo montage

I like the above better than the overworked photo-based style that just came out. The one above is another Struzan artistic creation, at least.

they're both nice posters Jason.
I suspect that since the Struzan poster shown only has 3 characters that others may be coming representing the rest of the cast to some extent, although it does look like they may be the 3 main characters in the story this time around

I like it enough that I picked up a copy off eBay, but Han looks a little ragged in the poster.
He looks like he's ready to yell, "Hey you damn kids. Get off my lawn!"

the source photo was taken when they pulled him off the golf course after the Millenium Falcon crash

I think it's great that Ford is showing his 73 years and that he didn't go for the Robert Redford stretch-o-matic-no-really-I'm-not-gray look.

I have had more requests for this poster than anything released since I have been in the hobby. Probably 10 times the number of requests, so PLENTY of people like it, trust me. This poster is going to go nuts when they hit. They will settle down eventually, but be prepared if you want one.

Already fakes on the market as well, undersized print your own thankfully.

I asked my friend yesterday and he said the theatres havent got them in yet. Probably very soon i would imagine though.

WoW..thanks. so ..can I ask? How much do you think this is worth? Forget ebay...which is your estimate on how much this is worth?

I ve seen all sort of crazy numbers...

Just curious...i won't be buying one....or maybe I will and then will need to think what to do with it....

Well I will be getting one. That is a very nice looking poster. Whether to jump in right away or wait is a hard decision. But knowing myself I will be getting one right away. Always checking if ddilts339 gets them in.

I am guessing 150-200 out of the gate. Long term they will probably settle back into the 40.00 range.

I've never really bought a movie poster before so this is a first.

And dont look for a 24x36, tho. That would likely be a commercial repro.

You want the legit theatrical poster which will measure 27x40.
