Those images are very good, but for presentation purposes on a website are impractical and I echo the words of Angelo & Chris.
See that is the problem... some people appear to want photos that can be taken directly from the internet, perfectly sized to put on their website requiring next to no effort resizing - it should take less than a minute to resize an image!!!... Hi def images are the master to give you ultimate flexibility - scaling small images up will only add blur. Want free image editing software, try
GIMP1.) The photos on that site are to be used in accordance with their
Agreement. If you do use them against the agreement, there will be even less of these rare sites for us to enjoy. Anyone read Bruce's spiel about image theft in his latest
club message. Unfortunately large high def photographs of posters I am taking for my new, not yet live, site will have watermarks covering them, else people will easily stick my photos on their quickly built sites making their site look good via my huge amount of effort, typically with zero acknowledgement. It is a shame, but thats now what it has to be.
2.) The high def images appear to be provided so you can download and print them off to enjoy, not to just look at an ear filling your screen. There are also options in your browser to allow viewing a huge image to scale to fit your full screen size.
These large images are great, the people look more real, even if the occasional one shows some skin pores(!) OMG, pores... Now, boogies hanging out of noses might be more disconcerting...
P.S. I can confirm Mr Wonka, in the Grace Kelly photo, a couple of pics above, she does not have hairy arms!
