Face of Fire (1959), a smaller, indie film, directed by Albert Band, starring Cameron Mitchell, James Whitmore, Bettye Ackerman. Shot in B/W and what caught my eye was the director, Albert Band, long before his later horror films made via his production company, Blue Moon Entertainment.
A story about a well liked man in a town, who upon getting severely burned after saving a child from a burning house, is avoided and shunned.
