The book was "depraved violence porn" so I avoided flick but this MP is cool as hell  devil 2:

Went for $60 on HA last week. Got it for $12 yesterday:

Which version of the book did you read? I remember there being an unpleasant scene of revenge, but not much more. Maybe my memory is failing me  ;D

I’m way inland but who knows. Paper says 6 inches rain.

In May 1995 my 1st floor apt in New Orleans was flooded and took 4 feet of water, ruining everything. It was surreal wading through streets flooded with water in pitch dark! My apt was above sea level so I didn’t take threat seriously.

Amelie is a great poster, but I will never own it.  For some reasons, that movie freaked me out when I first saw it.  Something about the pacing.  Never saw it again and never will.  I don't think I own anything on it.  But the B1 is beautiful.

My personal assistant Jenel used an "unorthodox" method to roll out my latest EMP consignment:  ;D :o

Jenel's a bright kid; just got three job offers after 14 years of being a stay-at-home mom; will earn a boatload tax-free for her next surrogate pregnancy

As Pop once said, "things are messed up in the usual way."

I took out 10+ loans to pay for MPs during Round 1.

Took out two more recently:

Yes, I'm fine financially. It's a very responsible way to pay off MP debt in 1-2 years, instead of credit cards/pocket sharks. (And I could easily sell stuff to pay these off, just don't want/need to).

That’s why movie poster collectors always live on the second floor!

Seriously though, take care now. Posters can be replaced but life and limb can not.

Thanks but there's nothin' to worry 'bout. We'll get 10 inches of rain but I'm not in flood plain. I did elevate my most valuable MPs:

May '95 was 14 years b4 "mp madness" struck. But the last 200 of my 1000 book collection - the rest were discarded over time - bit the dust.

What did you get?

So not braggin' - more of a "do not follow the path of madness I've taken."

I poorly invested $150K on everything related to MPs in Round 1. My consigned MPs sold very well but after 30% commission and 50 abandoned frames I lost $50K. My "enjoyment fee" - still internally debating value 8) :o

Now I've spent $70K in Round 2 plus several thousand (??) on assistants helping me with MPs.

That wasn't my question.  You said you put $8k on your credit card and it seems you did it in August.  So again, what did you get?

Yep, not bad "genuine faux diamonds." Most public domain:
