Every time I see a Goonies poster I feel it necessary to scream. ....GOONIESSSSS.

I have no problem with that at all. thumbup

One of my favorite scenes (below) - skip to the 1:23 mark for Super Sloth. I love Jake Fratelli's (Robert Davi's) response. Always makes me laugh1.

You're never too old to be a Goonie!

Watching it now it would seem a bit corny and full of cliched adventure, but it's still good fun.
Here's another favorite scene. The part where Rosalita jumps when she gets tapped on the shoulder kills me every time. Same with the scene when Chunk thinks the mom has realized they broke the statue. laugh1

Nice haul.

Off the top... the NSS info in the lower right is different as well as the poster on the left having the centered disclaimer paragraph, dead center of the bottom border.

Are both 1st releases? I cant zoom in enough on your pics clearly, to read the NSS info.  ;)

What, you can't read it from there?!?! I even gave it some glare! ;)

I found it interesting that the studio version (right side) includes the Dolby logo, while the GCIU version (left side) does not. This inclusion essentially offsets the entire bottom credits line between the two.

I didnt scrutinize the 2 long enough...lol.. i see the Dolby box and logo now.. i feel ashamed for not being more diligent...  rofl1

First releases... meaning, both are from the film's first release// Do both posters have NSS 850002 in the lower right corner, mike?

I forgive you. :)

Yes, both posters have the correct NSS#. I wasn't aware there was another poster release for TBC. Interesting.

Mike.. dont want to confuse you..lol..

It was I who didn't know there were a studio and NSS version of TBC. That's why i was asking initiailly, if both were first release OS. I dont think ive ever heard of or seen a later RR for Club.

Its such a cool poster ... and I really like the movie, too!   thumbsup.gif

Great movie, iconic poster. Also puts me one step closer to a complete John Hughes collection.

Also puts me one step closer to a complete John Hughes collection.

Good luck with that.  There is actually a lot of material out there.  Once I realize I own more than 20 items on a single individual, I start a sub-collection on my website... like this one on John Hughes

And then I start collecting.  Fun!

Yikes.

Looking through those I think I'm really only interested in the movies he directed, which cuts it down a bit. Though Pretty In Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful and Vacation are still must haves, imo. Thanks for the link.

I've been really really busy (and quiet) lately, but always on the lookout for posters.

And the mayor?

I decided to pass on him. I felt bad separating the trio, but Jack and Sally were must-haves for me.

Cool posters Mike. I'm a big fan of the Nemo posters (particularly the one sheet with the fish circling).
