The whole point about hiding them in the closet is to keep them hidden in the closet!
The real question is, I think, how many people here have posters that they don't display either online or otherwise, for fear that they will not be appreciated by one person or another? In my case, some of my clients might question my .... er.... tastes is some of the things I don't display.
That said, I heard some guy has a nice collection over at www.hollyruss.com . . . .

There are a few posters in my collection of women that are pretty nice, but going up against the posters in this thread is some pretty
stiff, errr, tough competition.
Here is a poster of Lollipop Girl from GTA IV. Carson might like her, but no one can take her from me, not even the Dread Pirate and Andre the Giant :D.
I know it's not a movie poster, but it is one of my favorites. It is an original subway poster that is very high quality, although it is not easy to see from this picture :(. But at least I got my camera partially working :D.

This Ebay seller "fabs348 (http://myworld.ebay.com/fabs348/)" pulls out ads from old magazines and sells them on Ebay. The Deep three-page ad comes from an undated Playboy magazine, presumably 1977. It's about 24" tall.

Susan is the darker haired chick. She knows her stuff and she'll take charge of having a good time. Angela is a really cool chick too, she's more laid back but down for anything. You can't go wrong with either and honestly you should hang out with both. It's like ice cream, you can choose from chocolate, vanilla, or twist. Why limit yourself. I always go for the twist so you get a two for one. thumbup

Thanks, it is a stunner. It was pretty cheap from Bruce, was surprised I won, think I only paid like 15.00. I don't really track what I pay for stuff, I would probably quit buying if I actually saw my annual spending in the hobby.

Thats all well and good-- who doesnt love smut.. :P but i still want to know the particulars of the "unreleased" 3 sheet for GOLDFINGER. Where was that image from, as i have looked and found no other matching image online ( and the image presented had to come from somewhere), for this 3 sheet.
To post an image link to a supposedly rare item yet say nothing about it's history or origin is not good "journalism;" I'm sure that more than a few are questioning and scratching their heads, too. :-\ Details, please.

Checked out the 3sht Goldfinger in some image analysis software (http://errorlevelanalysis.com/permalink/a00f1f9/). Cant really make head nor tail of the results, but you might like to check it out.
My interpretation is the square boxes around the lower sections of the poster indicate how the image was assembled

Fascinating anaylsis you uncovered Steve... with that being said, then where was the info obtained, that this was an "unreleased" 3 sheet, if, in fact, it is something that was cobbled together? We still await that information. ;D

You can tell with the lettering anyway - there is an effect in photoshop that gives this appearance.
But this analysis software is great!
Clearly shows the image is fake.
Mel, this isn't a dig, but why don't you chime in here - you are after-all the one who posted it and uploaded it to your website.
It will look better if you just come out and say where you got the image from or state you photoshopped it together.

Difficult to see properly as the pic is small on the "censored" one, but I do believe it's just an Irish release poster. They did paint over all that was showing a bit much, so from the neck to the thighs.....!! Bloody religion.

This is the later censored version of the Frank Langford art which was to be his last poster for FEREF. The earlier version employed far better use of the flesh tones but did not feature the red circular addition to the left.

Ah yes I've seen that packaging before. The thin cardboard and that horrendous brown tape the Europeans love. I had one come from an Italian seller like that with two sides wide open (the one piece of tape on each end didn't cut it) miraculously nothing damaged. Sadly this individual has a lot of stuff I like, I just dread buying from him again. If I do I plan I at least requesting he uses more than a piece of tape to seal it!

When I got it, it looked better than I expected (more color and good paper quality), that I thought this should be selling for more than I paid so I bought all as they appeared, more as a backup in case the one I displayed fades. I wouldnt really recommend buying mex posters for investment(!) unless buying one of the top end posters drawn by artist Cabral, although the artist for this poster Renau is quite famous for Mex art too.

there's been a lot opf posters last year or 2 with the fake fold lines and distress, seems to be a bit hip for exploitation(ish) titles.

Correct film,
"Frank Martin" is Marino Gilorami, a superbo Italian film maker, perhaps most famous now for the fantastic ZOMBI HOLOCAUST aka DR BUTCHER MD.
His Brother Romolo Guerrieri was also in films making some ripper Westerns and crime features.
He also had some kids, two of which are Enzo G. Castellari and Ennio Girolami.
Enzo G. Castellari is of course the dude who gave us such treasures as Keoma, 1990 Bronx Warriors, New Barbarians, and MUCH more.. I guiess all you QT fanboys know who made INGLORIOUS BASTARDS?
Ennio Girolami acted in films from Nights of Cabiria to Tenebre.
Enzo's children also acted and made films.
one of which is Andrea Girolami, who not only made some great TV and short films, acted in many AND to come back to mainstream Assistant Director for the ever popular The English Patient.
The family tree is deeply ingrained in Italian film and TV making history and still going strong, Enzo is working on a new western with his favourite actor Franco Nero.

My interpretation of that guy's description is he hired Poster Mountain to take an original Underwater poster and do that, not that Howard Hughes did that, especially when he says it was "created as an April Fools hoax...a number of years ago." Then goes on to say it was expensive to buy and create.

Going back 7-8 years (maybe longer) I was surfing EBay and came across this poster, got a friend to grab it for me as I don't have a credit card nor a paypal account at that time. The first shipment somehow/somewhere gets lost, the second one gets shipped out no questions asked & the poster also comes with 2 press books (Mark of the Devil & ...I forgot the second one) but last night when I was pulling this one out to take a picture of it I read who I recieved it from.... Ari Richards. Is this the same Ari that haunts these forums, the brotha from down unda, if it is, it's been a long time coming but thanks a ton man. You sir are a class act.

My "friend" doesn't like "slasher" movies but is a bit depraved himself, so he occasionally buys creepy/skanky posters like this - apparently unreleased - Hostel 2 one sheet. (It is 27x40, has razor-sharp text, and appears to be an original for all intents and purposes but is printed on unusual glossy plastic/thin/high quality paper, hence the reflection of the light-glasses).

Hostel 2 is a superior film in every way. Part one I HATED, the second installment tries at least to delve into the secret society of sickos, which is a good idea, it still doesn't quite make it, and the "goodies" are still annoying, but not quite so much.
Themes similar in a way to parts of videodrome and emmanuelle in America, minus the recording, I like the idea, I don't think they have quite got it there yet. The main difficulty for me is making the victims likeable, if they continue to get annoying fresh faced drongos I'll never sympathise too much.
If these things were made in the 70's or 80's by an Italian they could be up the top of the chain in cult gore fests. But the time has gone.
Anyway check out part two some time, beats SAW 36 or whatever number they are up to etc etc etc.

the hostel movies are just plain dumb and yeah not enjoyable to watch.
but im going to have to disagree with you on saw.
saw 1 is JUST about watchable, and completely unwatchble a second time once you know the hook, its very silly.
saw 2 reminds me of scooby doo its THAT retarded! everyone runs a in a room at the same time and the trap is set??? its REALLY terrible and put me off watching any further installments
saw 3,4,5 are are actually pretty good! the story line threads through them all and they are quite fun to watch, i would give them a go arri you might be surprised?
saw 6 is COMPLETE BOLLOX!
the space inbetween watching saw 2 and 3 was about 10 years haha! and that was only because it was on the when i was round someone house.
you may also like a UK flick called when the lights went out, quite tame but a good ghost story :)

I've seen a few saw movies, don't remember which to be honest, I don't hate them, and the ones I SAW were fine for a one off lazy day viewing. Trouble is I can never remember which ones I've seen, well I know I've seen the first, one had the girl out of Becker in it, that's about all I remember.

the cost for P&P was 19 euros he charged 30. when i asked why he said " to pay my ebay fees etc."
so i left him bad feedback as he did nothing else, he wasnt so keen on that haha.
he also listed a poster violent naples and failed to mention that it had a HUUUUGGGEE v shaped tear that was repaired front on back with sellotape that has just started to go off, so its mega sticky!
basically unless you want to spend a fortune fixing it up, its for the bin :(

No they never had a website. There was a different seller with almost the same name that I dealt with, but they had fixed prices that were pretty high. On the "secret" eBay auctions, lots of things would fall through the cracks. I'm still kicking myself for not going for that QUEEN OF OUTER SPACE 2-foglio that sold for about $100... I had less money in those days!
