Just noticed this. "Dirigida por John Badham?" Is that a black snipe?Below, it correctly credits Don Coscarelli for writing and directing.As far as I know, Badham had nothing to do with PHANTASM.
Ted, since PHANTASM and Badham's DRACULA were both released in 1979, could this just have been a case of the wrong snipe applied to the wrong poster by accident? Maybe the sniper was on the phone or having other fun while applying the stickers to various posters.
That could be an explanation, or the sniper was sniffing too much glue...
