Graphics Panel Case
« on: May 29, 2015, 02:55:17 AM »
Going to get one of these to store my horde>Graphics Panel Case 1250x950x150mm

Would have liked to get the smaller one(1050x750x200mm) but I want to keep my posters in their Polyester Pockets  :)
Perfect solution for me with a lack of space for larger storage, I can put this under the bed  ;D

Looks good. How many would you expect to fit in?

I have been looking for something similar for my home in Spain. Thanks for sharing.

It's just a little under 6 inches deep, but it has foam lining which I guess I'll remove as it's not really needed, At a guess I'd say a couple of hundred posters in sleeves maybe.
The smaller one is 200mm deep so you would get loads more in that one.

That looks to be quite the ticket, gargoyle. I like the design, too.

I would be very keen to hear how you get on and maybe see some photos of it in action. It seems like a good solution.

Is this thing shipped to the US? It seems that they don't have a shipping option.

Would probably cost a ton for something at that size

I did a google search for "graphic panel case".  There are several suppliers in the US.  Seems to cost between $250-300 for something that will fit a 1 sheet.

As Jayn pointed out there are already places that do them in the US>

Although they do seem to cost a bit more for whatever reason  :o

Nice little surprise for me when I got home today  ;D

Large storage case>

Bottom of the case, Please note I asked for no foam in the bottom of my case as I thought it would be too thick, But it looks like it needs some in the bottom to stop the bottom of the studs from marking the posters. Bit of a mistake on my part but I'll just order some contact adhesive and some felt to fix that.

Lid of the case, Note the thin foam that should have been in the bottom too  girly2.gif

Poster with lots of breathing room  :)

I haven't weighed it, but it's pretty light as it's plastic with a metal frame to strengthen it, I'd guesstimate 10kg or under.

That's a sharp looking case, gargoyle. And very roomy, too! An under the bed type of storage as well. It looks great.

Thanks. It looks like a very convenient box to have, and thanks for the tip about the thin foam. Will order one too.
