Outstanding, Ari. The 2004 poster is an awesome use of color. Quite striking. You are one twisted mo'fo.

thanks, 2004 is my sister in law, she lived with us at the time, was a fun shoot, the last is my daughter, I think she did a good job of looking scared.

the first, its a shame we had to make it 2 tone, believe it or not the girl, my other sister in law, has a Chihuahua in her hand about to kill it, then theres me with the knife, pic taken by my daughter, and then my nephew,

was all good fun.

Of the ones I own, my fav is this poster for the 1982 Festival de Cannes, drawn by none other than the Maestro, Federico Fellini.

Wow - I actually attended this festival.

Took a trip down to the south of France and just had a look around for a week.

Am wondering now whether I should seek this poster out...

You definitely should. I went to the Festival half a dozen times, in the late eighties, early nineties, when it was still fun. The parties were awesome. Haven't been in a long time. Like everything else nowadays, it has become ultra commercial and has lost a bit of its shine. I'm actually doing everything I can to avoid it now. I recently chose my vacation time around it so I wouldn't have to deal with the craziness.

As far as the poster goes, the smaller (24x32in) version seems more available. I only collect the larger ones, which makes it much more difficult to find.

My favorites right now... Picked these up at a flea market of all places at a vinyl record booth... I just asked the guy if he had any posters. He pulled these out and threw them in for $15... I would think these would be a pretty tough get these days:

83' 84' 86' and 87' Houston International Film Festival Posters.

Interestingly the 83' is double sided with the same image on both (not mirrored)
