Titanic second-class menu
« on: April 24, 2014, 03:59:30 PM »
"This particular menu is the only second-class menu that's ever been offered for auction."
That's some rare paper right there.

Amazing condition, too. Though I don't quite understand why the backside has yellowed more than the menu side.

Might have to do how it was kept, over all these years.. thew post card side looks like there is some staining and foxing, too.. almost like that side may have been exposed to some moisture or the like. The menu side maybe was protected when kept/stored face down (in an album of some kind, maybe?).. so it looks more white and "un-yellowed." (just a guess here, of course).  ;)
