Might go for a swim later...
it's been too cold lately. We've had 20s & 30s in Vegas for more than a week.I'm going to start the Too Damn Cold Party and get legislation passed outlawing Mother Nature
Oh poor baby. For temperatures like that, I guess I would put on a windbreaker. We have a name for weather like that. It's called October.Single digit mornings for the last ten days here with wind chills around -20.
all things are relative Jay. our high this summer was 118. I'm certain you never see anything like thatour temperature "swing" this year has been 96 degrees from 118 to 22
Well, here on the west coast of Maui....the water was warm, the waves were good, the bikinis are barely covering anything...the only thing cold is my beer...I've been living in Hawaii for 11 years now...and there is no way I'm ever leaving!!

I'm waiting for the results of the estate sale after I die
But it's high price paid and then profit. So mondos don't count, I assume.
incorrect Ari. Sean is asking what item you made a lot on. doesn't say anything about cost
Made me curious, I wonder what the highest price someone has paid for a piece for their own collection and then later sold for a profit?
Yeah it is a bit confusing... Is a bought $2000 poster and sold for $2002 of relevence... or is a bought $1000 and sold for $1500 the go?Please clarify this thread CrowZilla!
In the above example, the $2000 poster would be the winner. The absolute highest price paid for a piece and still sold for a profit. The Flying Down to Rio mentioned earlier might be the best candidate so far (though surely the seller of the Casablanca insert made a much bigger % profit).
Thanks for the clarificationI believe Ari is indeed correct, and Rich is incorrect (couldn't resist)
