Hard to believe but here's the story:

THIS POSTER WAS CREATED AS PART OF AN APRILS FOOLS HOAX REGARDING HOWARD HUGHES A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO.

IT’S AN ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC 1955 ORIGINAL LINEN BACKED US ONE SHEET POSTER (27”X41”) THAT WAS TRANSFORMED TO SHOW JANE RUSSELL WITHOUT HER BIKINI UNDER WATER.

I ASKED POSTER MOUNTAIN TO DO THE WORK AND THE JOB THEY DID WAS FANTASTIC. IT APPEARS COMPLETELY ORIGINAL AND IS A WORK OF ART. THE CENSOR SQUARES ARE NOT ON THE POSTER AND IT’S ANATOMICALLY CORRECT.

THE TAGLINE “JANE RUSSELL AS YOU’VE NEVER SEEN HER BEFORE” IS CERTAINLY APPROPRIATE.

I seem to recall that discussion on this poster came up during the early days on MOPO. Perhaps one of the more active members can remember the details, but I believe it was a hoax.

Dynamite Girls aka The Great Texas Dynamite Chase (1976 France 1P) - pretty sure this is a reprint (has Sonis logo in lower left and I doubt this copy is 36yo) but for $20 it's hardly a tragedy. Still looking for the superior but elusive US one sheet for this....

My interpretation of that guy's description is he hired Poster Mountain to take an original Underwater poster and do that, not that Howard Hughes did that, especially when he says it was "created as an April Fools hoax...a number of years ago." Then goes on to say it was expensive to buy and create.
