Lobby card and still binders?
« on: July 13, 2013, 10:46:54 AM »
A good U.S. customer has been buying lobby cards and stills and wants to get some binders to store them in (a few binders each, for both sizes).

Who makes the best product for a not outrageous price?

To be honest, I just use what ever Tesco, or Staples have. They keep the stills in order, and you can get a couple of hundred stills in each.. Cheap too, I worked out some of the more expensive options, and it would have cost a fortune to put all mine in. I have around 3000, so cost has to come into it.. eyeroll

They are just ring binders which you put pockets at the appropriate size in. The Binders are about 3" or so thick..

For stills I use:
For the binder - 0601-2 : http://www.archivalmethods.com/Product.cfm?categoryid=30&Productid=72

for the holders I use - 52-011, but I add a sheet of 10pt. acid-free card stock (52-011P) so I can get 2 stills in one sheet, both are available on this page:
http://www.archivalmethods.com/Product.cfm?categoryid=0&Productid=145

This helps me keep my still numbers in order.

Let me look to see what I do about my lobbies. I have it written down somewhere.

or you can go real cheap and go this route. There are always good, but I don't trust them, especially if you drop them:

I never put two in one pocket, I like to see what is on the back of the Still or Lobby card, they quite often have info, even if just hand written... well the U.K.  stuff does.

The US still do also, but I write out what the info on the back is before being filed away.
