The Buenos Aires branch of Harrods used to decorate their storefront with sets of movie scenes, with mannequins dressed as the movie stars.
Here's one for "Gone with the wind" displaying some original LCs

Nice discovery, Matias.

Great photo there, Matias.

And those LC done for GWTW were always a favorite of mine, too.

I really love their design, simplicity and beautiful portraiture.  thumbsup.gif

This photo is most relevant to my interests.  It was taken in front of a San Antonio movie theater in 1939.  In the back you can see paper for "Castillos en el aire", which was a Hollywood-produced Spanish language film, intended to challenge Mexico & Argentina to get a piece of the Spanish language movie pie.  It didn't work out:

Here's the one I lost. Different image.

That is a great-looking poster, Matias.
I hope you find another -- and in better condition, to boot.

Actually it's Gladys - but I lovingly refer to her as 'Glad the Impaler'.

Spectacular, one of my all time favorite movies. Thanks for sharing. Still dreaming of owning one of the posters for this one.

Disclaimer - I did not take the pics, a friend did.
That's what I thought but no. According to my friend those are all paper one sheets, which makes it even more awesome. I've never seen the likes of that tiled Thing. Gonna try to check it out myself at some point.

Excellent cowboy snap! I wonder how many people took up that selfsame pose during the film's run? I've found a snap from a past visit to Paris - window dressing in a famous department store. Anyone know what the film is?
