Blade Runner The Final Cut Authentication
« on: September 24, 2012, 02:26:47 PM »
Hi. I maybe just paranoid but I recently bought the famous BR: Final Cut poster on ebay and I just want to check I haven't bought a fake.

Is the 'tm' meant to be a little fuzzy? I'm guessing the designer cut and pasted the title logo from another source and put it onto this poster but I just wanted someone to settle my worries! Thanks!  :-*

Who did you buy it from Gemma and did they advertise it as an original?

That info can go a long way towards authenticating it...

it was movieposterarena and yes they advertised as original. I looked on here to see they had been mentioned as dodgy or not and it seems that you all agreed that they were legit so I went ahead with the sale.

I'm guessing that the poster must be original (after another look I'm convinced that it's the real deal) and I'm going with my theory that it's just the original designer being lazy and just cutting and pasting the original Blade Runner logo onto it.
