Help wanted on authenticating 1988 NOT OF THIS EARTH lobby cards

I just received an email from a customer suggesting that this set:

may be fake, since he said that these never appeared when the movie came out, and only surfaced a few years ago, and some are sold by dubious sellers.

Any opinions? If there are any doubts, I will kill the auction and send them back, because we never auction anything where we think there is even a chance it is a fake.

Thanks much. We can't keep up on everything, and it is because we have an army of experts (like you guys!) who help us that we are as accurate as we are.

Wish I could help Bruce, but I've never seen them before and -- at one time -- I had a ton of Lords material.
Interesting that the ones currently on Ebay are from three of four sellers that have all received negative ink on this forum.

Good looking cards, except for the logo placement on the nurse pic.
That looks odd.

Bruce, not that i am anything big or my name, like these fine collectors are, My friends is obsessed with Traci Lords and has alot on this movie. I told him about you auction, he said he never heard anything on this and somthing is off.  there are freaking cool though

There are other examples of "faux" posters and lobby cards like these.

I feel certain they are fake.
