Well, you guys are missing a piece of the puzzle here.  Holiday and I got an email from Adam yesterday asking us to intervene in his ongoing conflicts, which led Holiday to answer that he was not a fucking babysitter.  Adam can chose to stay, chose to leave, it doesn't make a dam difference to me.  But if he wants to cry, complain or argue, he needs to it himself.  You guys already know what we think on the matter, the rest is up to him.

Adam posted one pic of "his" Goldfinger subway poster plus a few pics of some magazine ads. He has never substantiated "his"collection or shown that it is anything special. If he has security or other legitimate reasons not to publicly reveal his collection he must articulate them rather than get defensive. Otherwise he should not be bragging about his collection.

Without trying to brag, I have 1200 posters and I could take and post a few pics and substantiate the scope of my collection in 30 minutes.

P.S. Of course his "love affair with Bond posters" is nothing compared to the love affair between our forum overlords....

Jesus Mel.  In addition to the Goldfinger subway, Adam posted at least 2 quads no one had ever heard of before (YOLT yellow advance, TSWLM calendar advance) and plenty more that I knew of but that there were no images of online (Seiko Moonraker for one).  He also posted tons of other posters as well, Japanese, DCs, and yes, trade ad and rare advertisement posters too.  His collection was not limited to movie posters only.  His collection exists and was seen by at least one forum member who visited Adam personally.  He also documented the rarest of the rare for us.  Quit trying to rewrite history to fit the fucked up justification for this epic battle you have made up in your head.

AP is 100% correct.  The point of the arguement is now moot... all that remains is you arguing.

And it is indeed his collection.  Not "his" collection.  eyeroll

Yeah that is a "corner piece" there...  Holiday's post makes much more sense now...  Was this guy sheltered or something.  He acts like one of those home schooled brats that doesn't know any better...  Like he was just born to the world and isn't comfortable in it...  He's pretty young right?

Man up Adam! Sometimes standing your ground is all you have to do.  Don't let a punk like Mel run you off...

Geez, now I am sad about it...  Mel, you bully...  You killed Blaster...

Charlie, I didn't chase Adam off. He wanted to start a fight and that's what he got. This latest fight started when he accused me of deliberately "misleading" the forum about the 50th anniversary Bond poster. If you throw a punch, you're going to get punched back.

I've had many a similar email over the years, some have even changed from asking to threatening (with legal action) - sometimes from the ones who on-forum pretend to be the tough guys.

Actually, I didn't get an email.  I just responded to what he posted earlier on in this thread.

If Stargate blows like you says it does, then yeah I prefer to lay down for one?   :-X

Well at least I am not fixated on movies where the main dude always ends up with his shirt off.  I bet you like porno only if it has a big XX in it...

"And.... go."

Bondie was always sending me emails saying he "had a case against me" and I was "demonically evil."

Good times....

You're lucky I'm in a good mood and semi-drunk or I'd have to (figuratively) knock you on your @ss.  Just had a date with a 24yo girlie, 19 years younger than me....

So, if I might ask, why isn't the back of her head making a staccato beat on your headboard?
Sorry. Is that rude?

First date, pal. I'm not that good.  Second date on horizon.  Suffice it to say that one can never explain women's taste in men:

But now we're seriously off-topic, which is Bond posters and/or fights with Adam.

This James Bond love affair bed1, ultimately, has culminated in him being the whiniest owner gift recipient of one of the world's largest most over-hyped, private least substantiated collections of James Bond movie posters.

JEEZUS.  Enough with your constant, immature attempts at trying to hook him back into another go around with you. You were/are just as much a part of the issue with Adam as he was. What IS your problem?

Words of advice, Mel: do not, I repeat, do not take the girl to your pad.

Or if you do, blindfold her.

Depends on her age.  If she prefers Hanna Montana, better check ID.

Back on topic. Just picked up this 40x60 poster for Casino Royale pretty cheap - can't be too many of these left on Planet Earth:
