Goodness.  25 of which titles have been represented on emp more than once.  Curious

They are nice, particularly like the Dambusters and Reach for the Sky.

I will have a dig in the UK Campaign Books and see which Bond titles were ostensibly allocated a 1/2 sheet...

...after all of which, only the above mentioned Russia and Goldfinger had 1/2 sheets allocated.

Oh well, enjoyed having a quick peruse of the Campaign Books.  Any reason to get 'em out, (said the actress to the bishop).

Sounds like they were phased out around 1963 or so (probably low demand)

I've been meaning to take the Moonraker one-stop to a frame shop to properly separate it, but to hell with it.  I'm keeping the blue one sheet and consigning the white one (not shown). The end result is a slightly-off center but very cool 26.5"(H) x 41"(V).  The odd lobby cards poster bit the dust, I'm afraid.

What is funny is that we have almost always received more money for the "cool" style from the one-stop trimmed off than we do for the entire poster (even though we of course completely disclose what was done)!

People see a one-stop as this HUGE poster they would never display, while they see the trimmed one-third as "close" to a one-sheet, and great to display.

Mel, that Moonraker frame up is very cool, had similar thoughts myself.

As for the repeated Moore Bond image: if it ain't broke...

The more people who cut up the one stop, the better for me lol.
They do look better on their cut into three posters though.

Mel, why don't you cut the other side to make it central again?
Use a metal rule and a sharp blade on a cutting mat to get a clean and straight cut (if you don't use a guillotine).
Best wishes,
Adam

I'm too lazy to take it to a frame shop and I try to retain as much of the paper as possible, even if off-center.

The end result of the separation surgery:

Quien es mas macho?

P.S. I could have framed the one-stop in the above three sheet frame and hung it horizontally.  Tut, tut....

IMO , people are paying too much for the quads , if I can't get them at a decent price I'd never buy them. Even 2k £ for DN is costly.

Italy posters are just as nice imo (DN , FRWL , TB  , OHMSS)

Outstanding presentation of Thunderball poster sizes by Peter Lorenz:

IMO by far the best Bond website/blog/whatev out there.

The Bond producers and the estate of Kevin McClory finally settled a 53 year running dispute over rights to Thunderball (and movies stemming from those underlying rights):

My separation was a little less 'hacking', and more 'rule and knife'.

No posters or lobby cards were hurt in the making of my production.  Indeed, on both Mr 1-stops.

It's a bird! It's a plane!  No, it's the latest five-star collecting triumph by DPM, the world's greatest Bond poster - er, bondage poster - collector:

Bought this recently.

Could also go in the text only poster thread, but don't want to needlessly spam the place.

All,

I have a spare one of these up for grabs but, I would be looking to perform a swap for anything in my wants list, but specifically;

Dr No / Gf
Goldfinger / Thunderball (colour version)
YOLT / OHMSS
DAF / OHMSS

Failing this, I might let it go for a cash sum, but only after I have exhausted the above possibilities.  I will also stick this in the relevant ads forum.

Cheers.
