!

Virtual acquisition?  I was under the impression you wanted digitised images of original posters that were actually printed...?  The above was never a quad...

Moving right along...

Very odd, Simes and Steve, this whole virtual gallery thing.

Anyway, I have never seen that dated quad.
Those Bond books are notorious for including images of posters and models that were never printed or made.

Andyvee, I don't think anybody on this forum says they are experts.
Most of us are collectors, some collectors and dealers and some just post when they want to sell something.
Best wishes,
Adam

Sorry if I misled you and Simes. That picture is not about a quad or a poster, it is a prop from Octopussy, a real sign. I found the image in the internet, liked it and did some Photoshop in it, just for fun. When I said "acquisition" I just meant that I had found the picture online, it was a joke. Sorry.

A purchase just came through this morning, but I daren't place it alongside the art in the November thread.  (Which probably says more about me than the poster)

Suffice to say, it is at least a quad.

So if there were Odeon-specific quads for DAD and Skyfall, does it stand to reason that there are also Odeon posters for CR and QoS?

How many quads does that make now?  :)

I have a few of these teasers for non-Bond films, so my guess is, there is likely one for all the films the Odeon released in recent times..

Yes, I've seen them for quite a few "blockbuster" films...

Sigh.

Is that a good thing? I have a few, but none are for Bond movies unfortunately.

I don't think a Completist can ever truly be complete, speaking from my own experience of course  ;D

Does your camera have a white balance? You go to the trouble of making these videos that it seems a shame not to have the camera set up properly.

To be frank, I am really not 'getting' the point of indecisive shakey cam wanderings around and over a poster in sepia colour.

Just scan the image and pop it up.

I've stopped looking at these some time ago... sorry.
