Harry, you did comment on this one in a fairly hilarious way; so not missed, just forgotten.  I must also admit to never having seen another one anywhere before or since.

And then, unrelated specifically to Skyfall, there was the EoN quad for the documentary.  But I am not counting that as anything other what came out at the same time...

Just while we're on the topic of Skyfall 1 sheet profusion, these are all those I have seen printed and have acquired;

Tunnel Art
SF V1 US Teaser 1 Sheet - October
SF V1 US Teaser 1 Sheet - October in IMAX
SF V1 US Teaser 1 Sheet - November
SF V1 US Teaser 1 Sheet - November in IMAX
SF V1 US Teaser 1 Sheet - December
SF V1 US Teaser 1 Sheet - December in IMAX
SF V1 UK Teaser 1 Sheet - October 26

Adam has said that some Coming Soon variations were printed but I have yet to see any at all on the market.

Final Art
SF V3 UK 1 Sheet - Gunbarrel / London - IMAX
SF V3 UK 1 Sheet - Gunbarrel / London - October
SF V3 UK 1 Sheet - Gunbarrel / London - October in IMAX
SF V3 US 1 Sheet - Gunbarrel / London - Coming Soon
SF V3 US 1 Sheet - Gunbarrel / London - Coming Soon in IMAX

Should there be any others as seen printed and not just a digital image of something never printed, I would be happy to know.

All the best.

Now I remember... Something along the lines of "oh for fuck sake" or something to that effect :)

I believe my request was in earlier than Paul's so please everyone ignore him until I get mine  ;)

40 years? Godammit!

LALD was my first Bond movie I went to (with all my friends) when it was released - we had a blast. We cheered at the boat chase (because we had read about it, a record or something?).

Edited and reposted from my Facebook page:

"Live and Let Die" ...I remember an extremely young me (!) and friends went to that movie...we had a blast! To celebrate I hauled out my James Bond Daybill movie posters and photographed them all in one place (for the first time).

It was at this point I realised I was missing a The Living Daylights (1987) poster that I thought I had and also an original Thunderball (1965) that for some reason I also thought I had - don't you hate that when it happens! The Dr No and From Russia With Love are not originals either - but I already knew that.  :P

A nice collection there David.

I know not a thing of the Daybills, so when you say the first two titles plus Thunderball are not originals, are you saying they are in fact re-release posters or some commercial reprint?

Also, did Australia release three versions of the You Only Live Twice poster, as per other territories?

Also, I guess they stopped Daybills around the time of GoldenEye?  Do you use 1 sheets only now?

Cheers.

Yes, they are re-releases. As all Daybill collectors will attest, the first four are very rare and hard to come by, the first two extraordinarily so. I've heard stories that less than four Dr. No exist.

I've only seen the one version of YOLT if other versions exist I am not aware of it.

As I understand the Daybills for Bond stopped at L2K but there are mini posters which some might call Daybills. My first fours has been to collect the Daybills as they become more and more difficult to find, unlike the 1SH at the moment.

The Aussie 1SH comes in the style C/ bath style. As soon as I get my hands on one, I'll post a pic. ;)

Do the Bonds suffer from bootlegs at all? In the meantime good luck with the quest. Esp Dr No.

Of absolutely no interest except to the most intra niche of completists of this niche genre, is the below.

Notable only for the fact that it is an example of poster campaign that Includes Adele's credit.  No other (English language) poster includes her - to my knowledge.  (Cue the flood of corrections)

In terms of all variations for this version 2 One Sheet, the below are those I have found and own.  I believe it is complete but wonder as to the existence of an 'October' only version.

SF V2 US 1 Sheet - Bond lying down - October (?? - Not owned)

Well, reference the 'October' only version of this poster, it seems it does exist, and it is also now owned.

I can see the Bond poster community breathing a sigh of relief over this one - to be sure.

All,

At the risk of going over 'old ground' and thereby demonstrating the sheer limits to my meagre knowledge, are people aware of there being two versions of the UK quad for Diamonds are Forever?

I have bought, but yet to receive, a DAF quad with an AA rating assigned.  It has a snipe partially covering the second 'A', which I will attempt to remove (advice to be asked later).  But the thing is, I already own a DAF quad with an A rating assigned.

Is this an already well known fact?  Is the 'two rating' story old hat?

And now to the snipe.  I am told zest-it is the UK equivalent to bestine but this appears to be a paint thinners.  Can I ask for any success / horror stories as to its efficacy.

Cheers all.

Simes if I remember correctly,Paul has in the past mentioned ordinary lighter fluid is just as effective at snipe removal..
I`m sure he will offer advice before his Friday Booze Up workout begins.

Thansk Stew - and how is it applied?

Do you break the lighter, pour some fluid into a pot and brush it on?

And then, what happens to the fluid itself - does it evaporate?

Cheers.

Simon.

Don't try the above as that sounds dangerous and it would evaporate before you even got your brush near it (I would think).

I am guessing maybe use a refill pressurised container and poke the stem to expel the liquid directly onto the poster
