We talked about the color of this French Dr. No 47x63in poster somewhere, but I can't remember where, so I'll post it here for future reference.
This poster by Boris Grinsson was printed in 3 different color, a very common blue, a more difficult to find purple, and a rare red. It was later re-released in blue.
I couldn't figure out if the poster was purple or red on EBay, so I took a leap of faith. I didn't want to ask the seller and make him think that there was a difference in color and
price. HA has sold a bunch of purple ones, but they all kind of look purple/redish online (prob a result of over contrast). Hard to tell. Even after receiving it, I still couldn't tell, so I had to compare it to the purple. It is indeed the red, which never shows up for auction and a real bargain
I already own the red poster, but mine (which cost me twice as much as this one 10 years ago) is not in the condition I like my posters to be, and this one is perfect.
