A Few Non-Bond Posters FOR IMMEDIATE SALE
« on: October 03, 2011, 12:33:13 PM »
Hey guys,

I've decided to sell everything - my own, personal collection; the lot.
I'm getting out of the poster game altogether pertaining to non-Bond.

This is your chance to get some decent gear at decent prices.
I've sold quite a few posters to members here already, direct through this forum as well as offline.

I'm happy to consider all serious, genuine offers.
I'm not looking for full retail prices on anything, but I'm also not going to give the stuff away, meaning if a poster is worth, let's say £100.00 retail, I'm not going to accept an offer of £10.00 - you know, cheeky offers like that.

My thinking is that as long as I get back what I paid for the posters, I'll be happy, although I am well aware that with some posters I am going to take a hit due to me wanting quick sales.

I'm looking to sell the following posters:

Escape From New York UK Quad FOLDED

Mad Max UK Quad FOLDED

A Nightmare On Elm Street US One Sheet ROLLED Signed by Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss, Ronee Blakley, Charles Fleischer (All autographs guaranteed authentic - I've met each actor/actress)

A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2 US One Sheet ROLLED Signed by Robert Englund (Autograph guaranteed original - I've met him)
Condition - C9
Basically, Robert Englund has signed right over the girls butt.
It looks pretty good.
Image can be provided when I find the photo of it!
Image above is a stock image.

A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2 UK Quad FOLDED
Condition - C8
Image can be provided.

There is other stuff to come.
I was going to consign it all to Bruce and eMoviePoster, but the cost in sending it all over to him means I would lose more money than it's worth.
However, I will be sending some items to him.

Any questions, please ask.
Thank you,
Adam

Escape From New York UK Quad - SOLD!

This is quite a major sale for me as this was one of the very first posters I bought; I never thought I would sell it, and so in a way I'm sorry to see it go.

Any questions on anything, please let me know.
Thank you,
Adam
Best wishes,
Adam

Thanks Adam!  And for the 'They Live' quad too!

No problem, mate, thank you.
Good stuff for good people - would much rather pass on the gear to other collectors on here than on eBay and such.

Hey, how do you like e-bid?  Pros and cons please.... :)

eBid, well ...

Pros:
Cheaper than eBay.
For a one time fee of £75.00 you can become a Seller+, which means NO fees, unless you want larger pictures.
Easier to use than eBay.
More personal than eBay.

Cons:
It takes a while to get going.
Invoice notification is rather cluttered and complicated.
Slower than eBay (sales wise).

I'm sure there are others, but just can't think of any at the moment!
Hope this helps!?
Best wishes,
Adam

Mad Max UK Quad - SOLD!

This sale, coupled with the sale of my Escape From New York UK Quad, officially announces the end of my love affair with non-Bond posters.
I always said to myself that if I ever sold both of these posters I would quickly get shot of everything else.

So that is what I plan to do.
I'm going to be sending some posters to Bruce; sell some on eBay; and sell some privately.

The only posters I will not allow to potentially go for peanuts are the following:
A Nightmare On Elm Street ROLLED US One Sheet Signed by 5
A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2 ROLLED US One Sheet Signed by 1
Freddy Vs. Jason ROLLED UNCUT/UNTRIMMED Teaser US One Sheet Signed by 3
The Devil's Rejects ROLLED Teaser US One sheet Signed by 9

Everything else will be fair game (auction-wise).
As ever, I will always look at offers.

Incidentally, my Almost Famous UK Quad sold two weeks ago.

Thank you,
Adam
Best wishes,
Adam

Guys,

I am open to offers for the following posters:

Friday The 13th UK Quad - folded, near mint.

Friday The 13th US One Sheet - rolled, near mint to mint.

Friday The 13th US One Sheet Restrike - rolled, near mint to mint.

Apologies for the quality of the images.
They were taken ages ago!

It pains me to actually offer these pieces up for sale, but my cull of all non-Bond posters is well and truly under way.
Any questions, as ever, ask away!

Best,

Adam

Hmm, I like both posters, Dale!
The one sheet hits you more, but the quad is better in my opinion.

Anyway, I have another poster some may well be interested in:

The Dark Knight Style B (Why So Serious?) US One Sheet Teaser.

I thought I had an image of this poster, but I haven't hence why I've linked to one of Bruce's images.
My copy is a bonafide original, genuine, authentic, whatever you want to say!
I've gone through the checks on MPA just to prove to myself it is original.

Condition is MINT!

From my own research, these have been selling for up to $220.00 plus.
I will listen to any offers, as ever.

Cheers,
Ad

I also have these posters available to a good home:

The Matrix Reloaded US Holofoil One Sheet Advance '05.15'
Single Sided
Rolled C8/9

The Matrix Reloaded US Holofoil One Sheet Advance '2003'
Single Sided
Rolled C8/9

Apologies for the reflections in the photos - it's extremely difficult to photograph holofoil posters and capture the effect they produce, as you probably already know!

The Matrix US One Sheet (Dated April 2nd).
Double Sided.
Rolled C9.
Guaranteed original.
(The image I've used is from Ed's website as I don't have my own image uploaded to any website)

Alien UK Quad
Single Sided
Folded C8

Army Of Darkness US Subway
Single Sided
Folded C8/9
(Apologies for the image - can't find my recent image!)

Jaws US 30x40
Single Sided
Rolled C6/7
Shows signs of wear; however, there are NO tears in the actual image area.

Nightwatch US One Sheet Advance
Single Sided UNCUT
Rolled C9
(This came from the collection of Dan Rickard several years ago)

Vault Of Horror US 30x40
Single Sided
Rolled C8/9

Any questions, please ask.

Just to let everyone know:

I have received many offers for the Friday The 13th UK Quad alone.
I've never really announced prices for anything as I've had great success leaving it up to buyers to throw me offers (never ripping anyone off), but I'd like to make a minor exception with this quad.

I cannot accept offers of £60.00, nor £80.00, but we are getting there.
The quad is fantastic. Seldom does a poster like this come along in such great condition.

I see myself as a very fair seller, especially when it comes to items from my non-Bond collection, so please remember I am not looking for a full retail price for this piece. I would rather sell all my non-Bond gear to you guys than sell to people I have never conversed with on the likes eBay or eBid.

Hey guys,

I'm going to put a price on this:

Friday The 13th UK Quad

£150.00
I know it is the best conditioned copy for sale at the moment anywhere (from my own research) and at this price, cheaper!
So now you have a set price.

Thank you,
Adam

Just had a sale fall through for the following poster:

Alien UK Quad

There are NO pinholes.
There are NO tears.
There is NO edge wear (if there is it is rather negligible).
Three corners are crisp; one is almost crisp.
The poster has been folded and so has fold wear, with separation on one of the folds.

I put this at C8 condition  ;D

The offer I had on the table was £80.00.
I am looking to sell this piece immediately as it is lying flat on one of my plan chests after looking for it for over an hour earlier today lol.

If someone wants it for £70.00, then you can!  sm1
Just want this one gone now!

Thank you,
Adam
Best wishes,
Adam

Hi,
I bought the Almost Famous Quad off you a month ago.
Would you take £180 for Friday the 13th and Alien?
Best wishes,
Paul

Friday The 13th UK Quad & Alien UK Quad have sold.
A sad day for me with selling the Friday quad ... but it had to go!

Thanks for all the interest.

I still have many posters from my private collection available for sale.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions, or make any offers.

Cheers,
Adam
