It's definitely an awesome card.

Beyond the price I worry about the buyer letting it be shipped for $3 ;)

In mid-May, Jim Gresham had his DRACULA (R51) move on to a new home. It sold for $3,000.00.   clap clap

**Edit. Removed the WERWOLF OF LONDON sale info, as the buyer flaked, after doing a BIN. Thanks, Matt.

French 1P for WEREWOLF OF LONDON (1935), sold a few days ago by Jim Gresham for $8999.00. Congrats, Jim!  clap clap
This is some spectacular artwork of Henry Hull as the werewolf, without a doubt.

Hi Harry,

I saw, too, that Jim mentioned a buyer that flaked (Phil in england). When i saw Jim's post-sale notation that the poster had sold, then the buyer had backed off (on a closed item), I thought that referred to a previous fall thru sale. I didnt think ebay postings could be amended or added to, after an auction/BIN was completed.

Let me amend and remove that, if I can, so there is no confusion.  ;)

Update. Jim Gresham did, in fact, sell his WEREWOLF OF LONDON Fr 1P on ebay, on the second go around. The comment about the UK flake buyer was from a previous, unrelated sale that buckled. (the double post about this withdrawn sale caught my eye).

So, once again, congrats to Jim G on a wonderful sale!!

I asked Jim and he said that Phil, the flake buyer from the UK, was a prior deal done outside of ebay, before he listed it there.

That would be a nice turnaround flip.  Unfortunately, I don't have a floating $8,100 lying around for cards like this  :'(

Relative rare Carmen Jones 1945 1S sold today.  (My bid was too low).  It's a pretty cool poster but it's mainly valuable because very few mainstream posters from the 40s/50s featured a black actor/actress:

Did he do the orange version?  This article says he designed this poster and the title sequence based on that poster:

clearly the author is wrong unless he's only referring to the title

Is that the only card from the set with Atwill's vampire blob in the fish tank?
