Once a post is "locked," (I believe the current, allowable edit time is now about 60 minutes, per Holiday) neither the image or text can be removed, altered, amended.

Anyone with basic knowledge of how APF is set up and its rules knows this.

Suffice it to say that Jeff is not nearly as innocuous as his posts on this board would suggest.  He contributes to this board, so I'm not going to go into detail. But some of us know exactly how he has crossed the line of fair play.
Unsubstantiated rumor Mel,If you care to share who the some of us are then go ahead, either that or you are just blowing smoke..

I have gotten great buys from them in the past. And when they over graded they let me keep the damaged ones and sent replacements free. Never a problem with them.

Ari, have these been originals that have been replaced by them? If so, that is one thing good to know that they do.

Mr. Waines made mention that it was a Moviegoods.com reprint.
Sure looks it.

http://www.moviegoods.com/movie_product_static.asp?master_movie_id=10949&sku=460869

no, it isn't.. It is a very high quality poster made for store sales about 10 years ago.
much better quality than anything MG has ever made

A Hunger Games poster, with 19 signatures and from the LA Nokia Theater 3/12/12 premiere (it came with this seller's press pass, too). It sold for $1005.00

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item1c252fa155&item=120882962773&nma=true&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&rt=nc&si=B7FCY432OHvSPkvJXZGlB8sDEDo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

This same seller has another version of a HG poster, also with 19 signatures, currently up for auction - it stands presently at $760.00:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hunger-Games-DS-Movie-Poster-CAST-SIGNED-Jennifer-Lawrence-Premiere-Katniss-/120891400414?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D120882962773%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7585674441144443709

What is interesting and curious is that the seller is also offering his red carpet press pass with this poster, too. How would an individual have been issued 2 red carpet press passes for the same date and event?

I hope you're not suggesting he would forge a pass?

It's interesting how every sleb provided their own pen to sign the poster.  Seems like if it was a person at a party they'd just have the one pen and take it around with them.

That's just crazy talk though.  I'm sure it's perfectly legit.

Im not suggesting that (but anything is possible).

I was curious how someone might come to have 2 passes (could be a spouse, friend or other press person who didnt want to keep his, I suppose). What caught my eye was that his description says that both posters come with "my Red Carpet Press Pass."

Kerry.. when I go see Metalica, there have always been 4 sets of tickets and passes for me, even though I never usually need more than myself & a girlfriend. If he has any juice at all, he gets at least 2 passes.

So you'll be happy for me to tag along next time you see Metallica?
I'll be in that!

yes, I bid on originals, and they replaced with originals. All very cheap items, some I resold for a pretty penny (in comparison) havent looked at their ebay auctions for years but I used to get great deals.

That's a scary thought.
Instead of enter Sandman it would be Enter Girlyman.

What did I miss?

The only thing I can think of is that Mel and Rich are still worked up over this: http://www.allposterforum.com/index.php/topic,4069.msg69915.html#msg69915

Specifically see the second paragraph regarding the 'stone lithography' thing. I thought Jeff apologized for not properly referencing that?  And, maybe it's just me, but I didn't think he was trying to be deceptive in the first place. Someone asked about the process and Jeff posted that blurb from LAMP to explain it. He should have cited them, yes, but I never got the impression he was trying to take credit for the info.

If that is *not* what this is about, then please add me to the confused list.  Hopefully either Mel or Rich can explain.

There is nothing more to say. All that has been said is sufficient. Those who "need to know" all the details know them. Now move along people....

Wanted to clarify my reply to Der Januskopf and the cast signed poster as it appears his snark-o-meter might need adjusting, as mine might need as well, but just for posterity, I think those are as real as any cast signed poster on e**y, that is to say, not at all.

Carry on.
