The 5,700$ Casablanca LC is another example. Prices for those LC are just getting silly.

What do you think, T? Is it also the most desirable of the set? I'd hope do, for that price..

YIKES!

An impressive result for Kind Hearts and Coronets. I would have been in for a few hundred but not for $2,550.

Ah, if only I had been around to snag this Aussie beauty back in 2007 for a mere $2.51

I think it's like you said in that other thread:

These can be very difficult to find in any condition! A long time can go by without one of these coming up for sale. You will have trouble finding a nicer one.

It's actually a spot on visual representation of "Dick" Cheney's nightly dreams.  (Appy polly logies for obscure, US only reference).

More on point, those are some spectacular results Bruce is getting.  My only hope is that you sunzabumpuses are spending yourselves out, clearing my path for stellar deals the rest of this month and next.

But seriously, where tf is all this money coming from?

Honestly.

If this is a continuing trend I can expect to be priced out of the hobby.

If you find out let me know!  ;)

Same here. When you put all together shipping , taxes, framing and all the rest it really is a small fortune.

I guess money does buy you happiness after all

Approximately US $112.10

Cheers, didn't get as much as I wanted for it, but a fair amount.

Should've seen the packaging, I built a wooden frame to protect it, could survive a small blast.

Sounds like it got to EMP just as you sent it. So 5  star.gif to you, too, for what sounds like incredible packaging.

And as long as you made some coin on it, that's all that matters.  thumbsup.gif

Considering all of the condition issues, that seller got a nice price for that Killer Klowns.

Yep, and another eBayer sold one for $120 a few days after the link to the distributor was posted here.

There's no shame in their game, as the description states that they don't have the poster in hand, and they wait for the payment, then order one from the distributor (for 1/4 what they are selling them for.)

I'd say it's a pretty fair price, as it's a rad, high demand piece, and overall it's not in that bad of condition.  Aren't they extremely rare to find in any condition?

I won the Killer Klowns - looking for one for 5+ years - I can't be too fussy over condition because of its rarity but I'm pleased its rolled as that will greatly help if I do decide to back it.

Well done Mark, I think you got it for a reasonable price. I haven't been looking on the Bay much, just shows what turns up when you don't look..

I was watching and planning to bid, but missed the end of the auction.  I'm sure you still would have won, but you'd have paid a bit more... you can thank my kids for distracting me :)

Yeah, they're hard to find.
I'm just pissy because I wanted it.

The art and taglines shame the American one-sheet.

Congratulations, Mark!
