Although in need of some gentle and loving TLC, this original US HS (Style B) for Dumbo (1941), went for $698.00 on April 13th. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Disneys-Dumbo-Movie-Poster-by-Distributor-RKO-Radio-RARE-ORIGINAL-1941-/181374941837?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=4cIrX7uWhPHg0Ik6a7W2EwDrQxI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncThis style certainly doesn't look to have come up for sale elsewhere very much, either. I've noticed that Dumbo material seems to be the rarest of all the early Disney feature length films. You see far more of SWATSD and Pinocchio. Strange.
My fathers nickname was dumbo due to his ears, which i inherited, and it still makes him sad.
Show off dumb arse drongo is my full name.
Can't get more aussie than that.
I would head to ebay, purchase some of these titles, consign to Bruce and enjoy the profits, but international shipping would be killer.Would some of you US users do that and just sent me 10% of your earnings for such a bright idea?
