it works the same in posters and probably more so because of the small size of the hobby and the large supply of posters in some areas
some dealers just don't give a damn about how other dealers feel when the prices of some posters are ruined because they sell them faster than the market can honestly absorb them. They ride a price down from $150 to $25.
This also exemplifies how such dealers don't care about how a customer feels when he pays you $150 for an item that you then destroy the price of in your search for personal profits
If I found a bundle of 50 Superman #1s tomorrow, I'd sell one next month. I wouldn't sell another until next year. I wouldn't sell another until the next year after that. At my age, the bundle of 50 would outlive my timeline to sell them.
If I really cared "about the hobby" then I would consider these things.
