Here is the before picture

Here it is on linen,

More to come as I receive them.  The paper loss still must be taken care of but it's quickly becoming the poster I want it to be.

Awesome.

What is he going to do with the missing credits at the bottom left?

He will be replacing all paper loss I'm waiting to se how the credits turn out.  I was happy to find this poster in the condition for the price.  The image is in great shape, the missing "G" is the only real problem beside fold separation which I would think was a easy fix.

Me also this is the poster I've wanted from the start of my habit, it will leave me with only 1 high priced Newman 1 sheet and 3 affordable  1 sheets to complete my Newman collection. An original Cat on a hot tin roof, a Exodus, a sting and a Butch to Complete. Even though I prefer the re-release of butch to the original.

Restoration is now complete, and I am waiting on return shipping.

Here are some close ups the "D" seems a little off but from his pictures I'm impressed

Hmmm the "D" does look a little small but you'd need to compare it to an original unrestored copy.

Otherwise looks like fab work again by my fellow Canuck!

I completely agree if it looks this good in person, I am extremely happy.  In his close up I can not tell where the paper was added.

The close up lower image is from a copy sold at Heritage.

Thanks for that I was looking last night on my IPad and couldn't get close enough for a good clear look.  For what he was working with it looks good and I am pleased. The D is A little small but from any distance behind a frame I doubt it will be noticeable.  And for anybody who is concerned with time on arrival this was less then a week turnaround, with shipping both ways I will guess less then 3 weeks.

Looks great, Tim!!  thumbup

dario did a fine job. how did he blend the paper add at the bottom with the rest of the poster? Did he have to airbrush the bottom portion of the poster, or just the area around the fix?

Damn, that is quite the poster.
Thanks for documenting and posting the process.

Congratulations, Tim!  thumbup

I just received my poster today.  Upon Closely looking at the damaged corner I can not tell where the paper end and the fix begins.  This poster looks better then it has any right to.  I would recommend Dario to anyone and everyone.
