Upping a buy it now auction just because?
« on: June 13, 2020, 06:59:21 AM »
I made an offer on two posters on ebay this morning! Two offers 5 minutes apart xx amount on poster A and xx amount on poster B.
Offer B got counter offered. Which was fine. I would have accepted the counter except I see poster A gets cancelled and price increased of over an additional 50% of original price.
Wtf!? Now I wont buy both at all then. Is that normal? It just pissed me off.
Would you bother entertaining that?

I'm not sure if the seller is on here or not but I think that was a dick move. ..

Now emails me back  saying he might take it down and linenback and send the poster to EMP because he will supposedly get more there. I dont understand.
And that's because he sees the listing from that other high priced dealer on here that sells items at 400% mark up.
Morning rant done.

Hi Big Mike, I've seen weird stuff happen like that over the years, too. Not a bad idea to walk away when things don't seem right or feel weird. There's always going to be another poster that will catch your eye. That being said is poster B a good deal to you?  What does your inner Vulcan say to you?  Happy hunting.  Okie

Good move .... the seller sounds a bit shady.
