Some nice posters there.  I have a few Argentos myself and he is certainly a fun one to collect.  Carry on.

Nice locandinas too, e.  thumbup

Are they about the size of a US insert?

Thanks. They're similar, I believe inserts are a bit taller, locandine are typically about 13"x27".

Hi Rosa, no problem. Yes he did some great art, very versatile in what he did. I like how he went full-on psychedelic with the All The Colors of the Dark poster. Thanks for checking them out.

Well it's midnight on christmas, and while I should be asleep instead I've decided to post a mini-update. Nothing too exciting, but I got one pretty cool poster that also happens to be christmas related, so I'll start with that.

Silent Night, Evil Night(Black Christmas) OS

I've wanted one of these for awhile, and after losing a pretty intense bidding war on ebay I was pretty upset. Then what do you know, I check Kirby's site the next day and right on the front page is one for sale. It must've just been posted too, because it wasn't there the day before. I love the poster, and the movie of course. The movie is just absolutely fantastic, a horror movie from 1974 that creeps me out at parts is a rare occurrence and I love it. Bob Clark was quite the director for making two of my favorite christmas movies, this and A Christmas Story.

Ok now for some new Argento additions.

Deep Red JP B2

Another one I've wanted for a while, great poster for a great movie. I guess this movie could be somewhat christmas related too(flashback scenes, etc.). Definitely a giallo classic, but if you ask me it's not the best...it is pretty damn close though.

Opera JP B2

Stumbled upon this and ended up striking a bit of a deal with the seller. It's a pretty great looking poster if you ask me.

The Stendhal Syndrome locandina

Honestly just kind of grabbed this to add to my Argento collection and it was cheap. The poster isn't all that bad and the movie is decent, it's the last enjoyable Argento movie for me. Love the shots of Florence in this one, makes me nostalgic.

Phenomena Grande Affiche(did I get it right?)

Another dent in my Argento collection, I quite like this poster.

Well that's it for now, hope everyone has a good holiday.

Great score!
This poster has eluded me for years.
And, I couldn't agree more with you regarding Bob Clark.

I don't suppose Santa brought you any new Argentos? Even though I commented already, I am taking another gander at your new stuff and it is really nice. Congrats again.

Gasp!  Nothing new?  Or have you just not been posting it here? You have more willpower than I if it's the former...

I've gotten a few posters, should have a little update soon. I've slowed down alot though, I make even less money during the winter   :'(. I got something really special that I think you'll appreciate, it's not a poster though. I'll probably post it in this thread anyway though with my next update. Hope you're doing well!

OOoooooo Now you have me REALLY curious!  I am excited as heck to see what your non-poster goody is!  Good for you getting it whatever it may be.

I'm doing okay. My self-imposed 12-step poster program got off to a rocky start, but i really think it will help me to focus more on getting things I need/want. Fingers crossed.

PS Check out the Fake Jan Day thread if you get a chance. Thanks for being the only one on here (besides me) who participated in the cheesy holiday! Ha!

CHEERS!

PPS  Now post your cool new thing-a-ma-bob, whatever it is! I can't wait to see it. Ha!

Haha, I will post it soon. It's actually at a different house at the moment so I haven't had a chance to take a picture of it. It's probably just super cool to me but I still think you'll appreciate it(Tease: It's Argento related).

I hope you slowing down will help take some things off the bucket list and maybe save you some cash!

You are such a tease... Ha! Ha!  I can't wait to see what it is. I'm subscribed to this thread so when you do post it, I'll see it right away. i won't comment until I officially visit again in mid-February, but I will see it (and probably drool and be uber-jealous)!  Cheers!

Ok a little mini-update, I haven't/won't be buying many posters this winter because I'm broke.

Black Christmas JP B2 (style 1)

Cool poster for a cool flick, I wanna track down the other style.

Inferno JP B2

Wanted one of these for awhile, always felt they were marked too expensive.

Trauma JP B2

This is a surprisingly hard poster to find  and in fact I've never seen another, though I haven't been collecting long but even the seller said he's never seen another. Weird for a relatively recent poster. I quite like it too, better looking in person, the photo make the edge damage look worse than it is.

The Stendhal Syndrome JP B2

Wonderful poster, really vibrant in person. Can't really go wrong with a poster of the lovely Asia Argento.

Halloween JP B2

I've wanted one of these since I first started collecting, but I  never wanted to go anywhere near the price they were selling for. I scored big time on this.

Ok that's it for posters, but I do have one other thing to share but it isn't a poster. I figured I'd post this because I collect like 80% Argento stuff and this fits(plus the cover is the Italian poster art  :P).

So I got a Phenomena script signed to me by the man himself:

Well that's it for now

Nice score, all the way around, there, e.  thumbsup.gif

Really like the Black Xmas B2, too. Olivia H looks great in that photo.

And how did you get the script signed? Sent over? Or was he at some convention?

All Very cool, for sure.

Ah, here's an update that I like with stuff that I like.

I love Phenomena.  Probably the first Argento I ever saw, age wise, and then I went back in time and watched the rest.  And that Trauma B2 is nice.  I need to find myself one.  Asia was cute, young, but not anymore.  She looks more and more like her dad.  Sad.

Good stuff there.
