Aye, I reckon that's the more literal definition.

The way I look at it, seafaring is a more general term, partially referring to traveling, and "following the sea as a trade, business, or calling."

Oh Paul..please do The Crimson Pirate MUST be the best pirate film Ever...We used to play that at our local beach. The local seafarers were really pissy with us, bunch of crazy kids jumping around their boats..shouting "Al abordaje" (avast?)

Best film ever! !
