Call be insane but wouldn't this constitute and ad in a non classified non dealer section?

You be UNdead and INsane.  Technically you're right.  I just thought I'd inject some six sheetism after seeing that nice MAN OF A LA MANCHA, an unfairly ignored title if there ever was one.  I think that people don't like competitive dealers sniping at one another all the time and posting eight times a day.  But if I have a good photo, I don't know why I should have to post it anonymously in this section just because I make my living selling this material.  But if you guys think I cheated, just know that I want to PLAY BY THE RULES.  So I can just slink off to the dealer section where the billionaires hang out.

"We have been, for 20 years at least, the source of some of the best U.S. six sheets in the USA.  Here is an example currently on our website."

That tag in big colourful bold lettering, my friend, is an advertisement any which way you look at it.  Having said that, you are forgiven (by me anyways) and all is good.   thumbup

Wasn't sneaky at all I know blind people that would call that an ad. Personally I would love to see every single poster you have for sale or not. Just skip the big ad and big lettering and of course the link back to the sales site in the images and all over the place and walla you are just posting as a collector. Leave it in your signature the way it is now is fine. I love to see the posters, just not the ads. That's my 2 cents and the end of my objections.Awesome posters though.

Years ago I was thought of as nuts for aspiring to the "six-sheet dealer".  So, over the years we were offered quite a few.  They have been good to us overall, although we no longer "specialize" in these.
Large format posters are, in a word, awesome.

I agree six is only bested byt he three's. A spectacular collection! I am envious and would love a few more myself especially the Mummy followed closely by North by Northwest and Them but would be happy with all.

Jedgerly, the Star Wars looks to be an 8p if my guess is right, 118" x 156". I have a couple of the 2p's, roughly 58" x 76"  but they are only 2 side by side pieces.

Star Wars French 2p

Jedi French 2p image from Ha.com, have not photographed mine yet.

yes - star wars is an 8-panel - serious boatload of paper.  Only have a few so I manage with 6shts.

As far as my collecting style, I rarely go after any specific genre...I'll collect if I like the film, image, or both.  While my interests primarily focus on 3's/6's - if a 1sh has a better image, condition, or backed/not backed, my focus will shift.

I as well used to take heat for collecting large format - not so much anymore.  Until 3-5 yrs ago - 3's/6's would close at 50-75% of the hammer of a 1sht - not seeing this much any longer.   My opinion here but Kirby's collection of large format is off the chart and will be one of significant importance as time goes on.

Friends and I had a long conversation around the bar at Cinevent in May -  they had to come to terms they missed opportunities rejecting large format paper.   I thought about the 1shts, lobbies, other posters I passed on too focused on large format and now realize there were missed opportunities by myself, as well.

That's what's great about this hobby - with only a small number of collectors, there's a seriously diverse style of collecting out there.   I have friends who won't touch a 1/2 or insert.  Others have no interest in lobbies.   I've never collected stills but I'm starting to question why.

A couple other 6's I left off the list...

Monolith Monsters

Man who knew too much

Awesome!!!!!  Love It!

What size is your French Star Wars?

I thought I'd post a few pictures of posters which went out the door in past years.  Here's one of my favorite six sheets - - and one of the best!

Everything a six should be!  A wonderful history of this film is discussed in Mark Harris' book, FIVE CAME HOME.
