Do you like this, Mike??

It's rather bland for me (maybe it's the color palette for me... too much gray)... a bit Somber....

I completely forgot about this...  I bought the variant and haven't received it yet.  Anyone else?

Being printed now. Printer had a back log that they were up front about when it was released. No biggie.

I don't really care either way.  Not too high on my list :)  But I'd like to get it at some point, you know, because I paid.

I passed on it for pretty much the same reason - just seemed too muted for me.

I did pick up a Pulp Fiction, whenever those get printed.  It's my first Mondo since... Danger's The Wolfman? Or maybe Hprkey's Dead Man... Anyways, it's been a long time...

I'm not a PF guy, but this is perfect. Love the little nods to the film scattered in the print. Plus, the less of Travolta's face front and center, the better.

I almost wanted to buy it, but the tag line at the bottom TOTALLY killed it for me.  It would have been so nice without it.  I really don't understand people's artistic choices sometimes.  So I passed.

Totally agree. The quote on this and the first one is a very weird choice, and from what I have read, it wasn't Durieux's choice.

I like this art better than the last one, and happened to sit down right when the drop happened so I just grabbed one for the heck of it.

The Pulp arrived today. Just 3 1/2 short months from the time of purchase.

It was bigger than I'd expected.  Or maybe I just don't remember what these things are like...

Nicely done though...

Alamo and Durieux are now reaching the European market.  This article was just published in Paris Match, the equivalent of People in France.

Here you are T - I think I needed 14 to enter the competition so that's all I included, but I must have around 20+ prints of his and a couple of sketches.

It's a bit like a doormat compared to your giant Stout rug!

Wow.... may be fewer than T's Stout's, but make mine Durieux.
Congrats, Tob.
That is impressive.

I really didn't like the Iron Giant when it came out.  I felt that the colors were all wrong.  So I didn't get it.  Apparently I was wrong.

Nice picture.  All good stuff.

His Iron Giant is amazing, and easily the best image available for the film.

Durieux' quote is also increasing...

This Jaws just sold for $1,789.

One of my favorites.  I actually have it up in the kids' room right now.  Not as scary as the shark and they like the colors.

Thanks guys! I really like Laurent's work...a very talented illustrator and a thoroughly nice chap too.

Jaws prices are crazy, although I'd rank it in my top 5 of Mondo prints.

Here are some pictures Laurent shared from his recent retrospective show in Belgium...his work definitely looks better here than it does laid out on my floor:
