What a wild mix of movies all out at once: Tron, World According to Garp, Porky's, Firefox, Thing...  A surreal, real blast from the past.  Who knew we had it so good in the early 1980s, eh Redman?  Okie

The King of Comedy (1982)

^think there are seven films here

there were posters in this movie, will try and cap them oneday

^its funny to me how Firefox made more at boxoffice than Blade Runner.
for some reason i've always thought it was about a motorbike - turns out it's about a jet fighter  Doh.gif
i've not seen it but i'm sure i've read that it is terrible

here are the box office numbers:
Blade Runner $41.5 million (budget $28 million)
Firefox $46.71 million (budget $18 million)
Tron $50 million (budget $17 million)
Porky's $106 million (budget $4-5 million)
*figures do not inc worldwide*

Porky's must have made a stack on the home video rental market a year or so later as well

A scene from "Spione" showing posters from "Metropolis" in the background. Imagine what that wall would be worth today!
