Apologies to whomever (Jeff?) posted this pic earlier on this forum, but it bears repeating and should be archived on this thread.
Dramatic, eerie, and undeniable proof that the enigmatic Max Shreck was a real vampire.
I love this photo...

How about this one... the stack on the table is a like small fortune just hanging out there.  Such an awesome shot though!

My older daughter just started dating a kid, last name Pratt.
When I met him, I said, "Pratt, huh? You related to King Karloff?"
He said, "What's that?"

So, I smiled and said, "Never mind. Hey, wanna see my workbench?"
He humored me and said, "Sure."
(Kid didn't even have one callus on his hand.  Prissy...)

So, I showed him many sharp things...like ripsaws, ice picks, finger-clipping pruning shears...
And -- of course -- Husqvarna.
I even started it up for him while telling him about her last boyfriend -- the one who gave her a hickey.

I don't think Mr. Pratt will be back in the near future...if ever.

if he knew of Boris, would you have asked him to stay for dinner?

Sure.  This way I could keep a close eye on him.

Funny....none of her boyfriends ever stay for dinner.

This looks to be a shot of James Whale shooting the closeup shot in BRIDE OF FRANK, when the bandage is first removed from over the Bride's open eyes, after she has been given life with the "Great ray."

Another shot (probable publicity pose, based on the photo number) of Karloff, from BRIDE at the blind man's hut, cutting wood.

Elsa between shots.

Such a great shot, Ted. And I always liked how Universal used this very candid, behind the scenes image of Lanchester, lounging & sipping tea, on this style OS:
