You asked for it, so you got it!  :D  A whole thread dedicated to fishes!  woohoo  Seriously, this is one of my favorite genres.  Please post some more fish eye candy at your earliest convenience.  8)

And the sexiest fish...err...half-fish.

Funny, the piranha look harmless in the aquariums!

I wouldn't say they look completely harmless, since I've (accidentally) had a nice chunk taken off a couple of my fingers from fish in tanks (when I was a kid feeding them) that didn't have as gnarly teeth as piranha, such as a harlequin tusk, and a puffer fish used to skeet water out of it's mouth at me when I opened the lid of the aquarium, which was kinda scary.  :D  As long as a school of them is not starved and a bleeding body part is near them, they would probably be mostly harmless...mostly.

Sure.  Sounds good to me.

Very cool, Bosnuk.  I looked at your website a few times the last few days and you have a lot of really cool, rare gear on there that I've never seen before.  This one is one of the best in the genre, IMO.  Much better than the wacky U.S. one sheet.  After seeing this German version, I'll have to check out the movie sometime.

Thanks NeoLoco.
Just to clarify things: I actually have on paper less than 1 pct of what's posted on my site. Most images are taken from Heritage, etc.
But I do own the one above, one of the first I've ever bought (by mistake) )

Somebody posted a hilarious review of Beach Babes From Beyond, worth repeating here:

Shit I Watched Today: #1 Beach Babes From Beyond (1993)

I’m going to be honest and say that although this isn’t even a full length movie - 75 minutes in fact - it felt like a god damn lifetime. Every time there appeared to be a glimmer of hope and emerging plot, it was followed by a ten minute montage of bikini-clad women. Literally, like, 20 minutes of this movie is random irrelevant shit that has nothing to do with our three title “beach babes from beyond”. And every time one of these scenes cropped up, it would be set to the same overlong song with a chorus that repeated twelve times. Alright, maybe it was two different songs by the same Go-Go’s-esque girl rock group which just sounded identical. I couldn’t give a fuck. My attention had been driven away from the TV screen and, rather intensely into the floor.

I may not have the highest I.Q., but by god, it’s fucking nonexistent now. Although, I must commend Beach Babes From Beyond for managing to gather together a big-named cast. It features such well-known stars as Travolta, Stallone, Swayze and Estevez. That is Joey Travolta, Jackie Stallone, Don Swayze and Joe Estevez. They also managed to throw in Batman Robin himself, Burt Ward, completely free of spandex. And Linnea Quigley. Unfortunately she isn’t spandex-clad either, but had she been, I would have given this movie full marks.

The plot, or what there is of one, is as follows: three chicks with funky space names (one is called Luna. Her parents are probably space hippies) steal a spaceship to hunt for boys. They crash on Earth and find themselves on a beach, where they meet some super cool surf dudes. Clearly unable to resist an earth guy in tie-dye, they hook up with them, and soon learn that the beach is under some sort of threat of closure if nature-loving “Uncle Bud” doesn’t raise a bunch of cash. The girls come up with a plan to enter the upcoming (ten minute long and set to a song that goes “oooh, he’s got a woody”) bikini contest in hopes of winning the money they need, and make a bunch of hideous thong swimsuits because they know everyone will just *love* them.

In our title roles we have one actress with no other film credits to her name. The remaining two, between them, have starred in over 80 movies, with such titles as Babewatch: Lingerie Fantasies, Young Buns 7 and Wanna See Me Pee?

I caught this film on TV at about 3 in the morning, and watched it simply because of my massive love for awful ’80s/’90s beach movies, and my unnecessary need to have a complete filmography of such movies stored in my brain. It wasn’t a great move on my part, and I foolishly assumed that having seen films like Surf II (1984) and Beach Balls (1988), i’d be able to hack Beach Babes with ease from start to finish. It was quite a struggle. One good thing did come out of it, though: I was inspired to hoover the floor. And also, the babes taught me that black thigh-high PVC boots are a bad fashion choice for the beach, even when you’re a mega hot porn star.

Phew.

That review is spot on.
This was one of the last 'films' I reviewed for United Media and it was one of the worst things I have ever seen.
The poster was worth saving (even though the Beach Babe on the left - while closer to the shore than the one on the far right -- is in deeper water (?). Go figure...

I learn something new everyday.  I thought that "fish" was always both the singular and the plural.  But apparently "fishes" is an accepted plural form of the the noun when referring to more than one species.  We now return you to one of the most interesting genre threads..........

Geez Louise, Mr. Waines, is there any genre that you don't have several awesome pieces for?  Nice work.  Not a big fan of a lot of the aftermath of Jaws (which helped create a shark-o-phobia for many people, etc.), but it's not entirely the movie's fault, and the paper is definitely iconic.  I must say that quad is probably the best for the franchise IMO.

Shark Night is pretty awesome, just scored one myself, and I'll probably see the film in a couple weeks.  I was watching How Sharks Hunt on TV yesterday, and seeing Great Whites attack like that, with their lower jaw open and their upper jaw extended (since they aren't attached to their skull) and doing various attacks on a fake seal is incredible.  As Steve Erwin would've said "BY CRIKEY!"  Near Seal Island in South Africa is one place I probably won't go for a fun workout swim.

The Finding Nemo "cast version" is a beaut as well as this one from Mr. Amethyst.

It is good to see Shark Tale and Finding Nemo have somewhat friendly sharks, and they're not carrying on the "Jaws theme" for kids movies.

This beast/beaut arrived moments after my last post.  Looks like a fun movie, if only more people could view movies like Jaws as "fun."

Yeah, unfortunately it is wavy gravy.  Think it'll flatten out?  Probably need a couple slabs of MDF and a lot of weight, like CJ mentioned in another thread a while ago, and that should help, if not fix it, right?

Maybe, with a lot of weight evenly dispersed...It doesn't look creased.
But IMO, the poster is too new to accept as anything less than unused.
I'd request a replacement.
Just my 2 cents...

Yeah.  It is a bus shelter, the only one I've seen since I've been looking for one.  The packaging was not exactly stellar, which may or may not have caused the problem, but I'll see if the seller wants to take care of it.

That's the current standard shipping 'tube' for bus shelters being sent directly to theaters.  They were basically designed to damage the posters.

Just got a reply from the seller.  He sent me a full refund.  I'm still gonna try to flatten it out.  Some really serious techniques people recommend from places like gigposters, but I'll figure out how to fix it instead of sending it somewhere for restoration.

What's worked for me is reverse roll it tightly around a small diameter tube. Lay it on a flat surface put a book or something on to stop it un-rolling, and leave it a few days.
