Eh, aside from the Bob Peak art, there's nothing there that does anything for me.  The Italian art for OTW is far superior to its US equivalent

Angelo.. much of the Italian (and French) artwork, in general, I also feel, is far superior. But I didnt find these US examples bland, as they have good graphics, color and composition. Bland, IMO, were a few of those earlier posted Bogart pieces, lacking color or depth.

Harold & Maude - original release one-sheet is in the running for the worst poster ever...
Network
All the President's Men
Most of Woody Allen's pictures... (Sleeper and the international image for The Purple Rose of Cairo being noteable exceptions)
Citizen Kane
Godfather II is nearly as bad as part I.  The only exceptional Godfather poster was the advance for part III.  To bad the film was Sophia'd...
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Abyss - see Unicorn thread
The Apartment
The Hustler
The Social Network
Stand By Me
Stalag 17
Children of Men
Barry Lyndon

Arsenic and Old Lace - this really can't be mentioned enough...

Even though I started this thread off saying I didn't like the NOES artwork, I broke down last night and picked up this tri-fold:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Social Network
Children of Men

I'm surprised by these - I think these movies had excellent posters (at least the teasers). But I agree with everything else.

Thats the different strokes for different folks side of posters and, on an even bigger scale, movies themselves.

I have stuff on my walls that many here wouldnt even consider using as toilet paper.  ;D

Don't I know that. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

There should be an entire thread dedicated to this practice.

Jeff, Ted!

Those posters are so bad, they are so good!
I would buy them if anyone had them for sale at decent prices lol!
Best wishes,
Adam

Instead of starting a new topic for this I'll put it in here.

This first release Quad needed a better poster than it got in 56. It even ties in with the photos/art tread.

Anyway this film did get a better poster for the 68 re-release...

But by the 72 re-release it had slightly gone down hill again...

The OS poster for NETWORK.. very uninspired and rather dull, IMO. I really like the movie. The performances are powerful, needless to say. I think people are still "mad as hell...."  ;)
