Back in 2018. Jeff helped me out with a couple of eBay auctions because they couldn’t ship to my location. So I won the auctions, and had it shipped to his place. He was very helpful and communicated very well at that time. He even replied when he received the package, took pictures to me as well and sent me pics. Within a couple of days, he had it out for delivery.. package was received almost a week later...

I hope for the best, and hope he is okay,  and hope that it works out for you guys.

I’m not bashing Jeff and I’m not bashing the decision to have him and keep him as a moderator.

I do hope however that others can learn from this. Members have told me how similar things have happened to them with other people on here. I hadn’t heard of that until this issue happened to me but I wish I had.

Having said that I hold no one responsible for my current situation except myself.

Over the years, I've helped out many on here, but stopped it when I was asked to receive and send on a package, that kept getting bigger by the month. I eventually sent the several items off.  I had to pester the guy several times to see if they received them, I still never got a response ( until they asked me to do it again, which I refused), or even offer of my costs for packing and shipping, still waiting to this day.

So for me, yes, I'll do it, but only for a select few now.

Im not saying you are.  All I’m saying is the guy is not a moderator anymore, he is just a member, and I think we’ve all said enough.  What matters now if for him to do the right thing and move on if he so wishes.  I personally do not have a relationship with him, I haven’t in a long time, I don’t really care one way or the other, but I’m sure very happy that two top notch collectors could replace him.

I haven’t heard anything from Jeff in sometime now. Given the state of the World I haven’t tried to contact him but when things calm down I will do. I’m still hopeful he’ll come through when he can.

He has a habit of joining places with a different ID. Not sure if he's done the same here....

Except you wouldn't have used him if he hadn't been moderator here.

Hope this works out for everyone involved.
Just looked at his FB to see if there might be any clues, he posted a thank you for birthday wishes on January 16th, and that was his last post (and his first for over a month prior to that).

I did a search to see if any other members were using the same IP address as his Erik1925 account and there doesn't seem to be any matches.

He could be using a VPN of course, but as most of the forum is open to non-members now, he could just be lurking.

Glad you've spoken to him and he seems ok. I haven't heard from him recently.

Tang, I removed your post showing Jeff's mother's phone number.  Please do not post private phone numbers on a public forum.  You can text it to your friends if you want, but you cannot post it.

Thank you.

My reply to him today , blames it on his mom having cancer/surgery/corona :

"Perhaps i should call your mother to verify these stories ?

You must think im some kinda naive momo that you can bs

If youre really in OH then you can get on a plane or car or bus back to L.A , i dont give a f how , as long as you return my items now immediately"

If he could no longer help us out/didnt have time for it then why the f didnt he let us know last summer , no excuse for this !!!

I didn't want a fee, just the postage costs, or were you expecting not to pay any?
