Thanks Thierry. Nothing special but I got them anyway.

Picked up these as well. Metropolis BFI RR quad and a Hildebrandt reprint.

Hahaha... that's what it's all about :)  99.9% of my posters are "nothing special but I got them anyway," so don't feel bad.

February has special meaning in Johnny Weissmuller's career. It was 95 years ago this month that Weissmuller set both the 100 yard and 100 meter freestyle swimming records!  I was so happy recently to get this beautiful Color Glos photo of Weissmuller from his George Hurrell session.  It sure would have been cool to see these Color Glos photos up in your favorite movie theatre back in the day, eh?   Okie

Thanks! Been looking for that GotG for a long time.
Still hoping to one day find the Oblivion bus shelter that I've been searching for.

the intl actually is htf and while it looks like the US poster, the US poster only has Jack in the silhouette

Hey Jeff.

I was just speaking from personal experience. I didn't even know this version existed until a few months ago and I usually keep an eye out for NBC posters. Seeing Rich mention that it's htf makes me feel a little better about referring to it that way. This artwork is on the quad, but hadn't seen it in the OS format before.

Here's the difference Rich was referring to (US on the left, int'l on the right):

Both really nice posters, but it isn’t the quad artwork.

The quad artwork has Jack, Sally and Pumpkins, rather than Jack/Sally but no pumpkins or Jack/Pumpkins but no Sally.

The only 1-sheet poster I’ve found so far with all 3 is the Australian video poster.

Do you have the rest of the Guardians bus shelters?

....until yesterday, in my case.

Well done Mike. I'm on the look out for one now.

I picked this up recently. I know it's not a movie poster but given the current topic. This is a poster to advertise the original book/poem the film was based on. I'm not sure if it came out just before the movie or was some kind of tie in because both the book and film share the same typeface. I'm a big fan of NBC posters.

Bah, nice catch! I was so focused on Jack and Sally I missed the pumpkins on the quad. I'll need to watch for the Aussie. Also like the L/S/B bus shelter.

I only have the one GotG bus shelter. Always liked that one and was extremely surprised to find the one I picked up. Not often that older bus shelters pop up (still hunting for Oblivion). Fair price and great condition.

Also, nice advert!

Awesome stuff so far this month.

Mad Max 2 the Road Warrior Japanese B0

Have been waiting on this one a bit. Not the best of shape with a piece missing in the bottom edge but not going to complain since I have never seen another B0 for this movie. It is the same artwork as the B2 just a lot bigger.

Just an update on my damaged Vertigo quad which we were talking about in the January thread. I eventually got my full refund and got to keep the poster so all's well that ends well (apart from my slightly damaged poster!). But at least I get to keep it for nothing.
