Just the double sided poster looks better with back lighting that is all. Not special paper..
Wow, this is fantastic, Paul. But I don't get it. Don't you need a special paper treatment for black lighting? I know nothing about this.T
One thing about British posters, there was a lot made that look amazing using a Blacklight.I think UK Cinemas missed a trick here.... Fantastic and amazing quads with the back lighting.. The use of florescent inks was big in those days wasn't it? Don't seem to use it these days, don't know why, great effect.
Nothing special T, it's the day-glow inks that they used in these posters that react with a BLACKlight, or UV light.. they look far better in person too..
Great pics, Paul! Some are definitely official UK Quad Hammer Doobie Night Lights! Okie
Lit like this, they remind me of the commercial, black light posters that were sold at stores like Spencer's Gifts.
