Some really awesome stuff as always everyone, keep sharing.

Have not had much time to post this year or keep up on photographing purchases but thought I should throw something in here at least. Most of my favorites have been purchased within December and so far only one of those has arrived so far.

Two that make my favorites list for the year include finally upgrading my folded Star Wars Style C Domestic Spanish one sheet to a nice rolled one. The second just arrived Christmas Eve and is from one of my favorite monster movies when I was  kid, Gamera vs. Guiron, Japanese STB. Actually remember sitting in front of the TV in the 70's watching it for the first time. There are two more that make the list but I will wait for them to arrive before posting.

Richie:  I really like your hs for I Walk Alone. Hard to beat Lancaster and Scott, too, eh?

Undead:  What a cool, large size Gamera vs. Guiron!  Have you ever framed this size before?

Thanks Okie.

To date, I have not framed any of my STB's though that will change very shortly, likely with Gamera. In my defense though, I own a whopping four of them all purchased in the last few months.

Will be cool to see your first framed STB, Undead!  I know I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide.  Okie

The year is winding down. As we have in the past, I thought I'd jump in and start the list of our favorite purchases of the year. For me, it was not a banner year....but I still had some jewels mixed in with the crap. Here are my favorite

Nice stuff as always and was the Nightmare Before Christmas lent 2018? Maybe that was 2017?!? Time flies faint2.gif

The Bruce Lee Way is Japan repro from '75 , not actual '72 Hong Kong 1sh

If its rolled its prolly bootleg , anyway the Japan repro was factory folded and included with the LP soundtrack back then

How can you forget that wonderful mylar?!?!?!? Just kidding, one of my all time favorite text posters for any movie.

A few more of mine arrived that make my list for this year. One of my all time favorites, '54 release Seven Samurai B2. A set of TOHO Godzilla three sheets. Images aren't great, stitched them together to make the full poster. Each is roughly 41"x87" made up of three B1 size pieces. Anyone getting the feeling I've been on a Japanese kick this year?

I’m very familiar with the Japanese poster you are referring to. I own both folded and rolled examples of it. This poster is different!

I really like this can you please tell me more?

Victory or Death (1913) Italian 8-foglio.

I also bought two other 4-foglios for the same film this year. The Italians had some amazingly progressive action films with female heros in the teens. Sadly Fascismo Italiano and Mussolini brought that all to an end.

I meant it imight be a japan official repro from '75 of the original Hong Kong poster - which was inserted into the japan LP record sleeves as a bonus btw

This is found factory folded but i guess there could be rolled specimens out there of this "LP record poster" but never seen one rolled in 20 yrs and would question it if i saw one for sale.

The real '72 HK 1sh was never on glossy paper like this or rolled....usually the real ones are much darker than the glossy bootlegs and almost forget about finding mint specimens - huge chunks or missing pieces not uncommon , its a huge problem with bootleg 70s/80s HK 1shs , ive yet to see real HK rolled , 99.9% theyre fakes - they were always factory folded. Most rolled glossy bootlegs come out of HK.

Never seen any kung fu fakes from Singapore though , they are a lot safer to buy.

I'm late to the party, but there are some lovely posters in this thread. I particularly like that Italian poster for Confidential Agent that Okie posted on the first page...what a beauty.

Here are a few I was happy to get in 2018

Iron Giant International One Sheet

Pan's Labyrinth One Sheet with Drew Struzan art

Mother German A1 with art by James Jean

Jaws Japanese B0 and Mondo print 'The Shark' (which is signed by Roger Kastel)
